I'm not sure. I know that Cavill confirmed that it would start pre-production in January.

Henry needs a tan, he's too pale. A tan brings out his eyes and dark hair. (premiere for Immortals, Man of U.N.C.L.E., MOS etc.) He'll have his hair grown out in 2 months times. Good thing is his hair is thick, so even it isn't the same length as these last two movies perhaps that means they'll adjust the hairstyle to a dryer look (ala MOS) to bring out the thickness of his hair.

I am actually kinda hoping that his hair won't be long enough for them to go for the slicked BvS hairstyle, but will have to opt to keep his hair natural. I think this would be a good look:

I don't know about Kirk Allen...may not have been slick hair. In Man of Steel, however, it didn't look like the first time, that Cavill had slick hair, it looked more like his natural hair, just combed...now it's slicked.

Again, as someone who'd prefer a more natural hairstyle to the slicked one, I think Henry Cavill having to shave his hair for "Sand Castle" was a godsend. I don't think they'll have much choice, but to accept him having shorter, unslickable hair. t:
