Not really...
He is ripped, but not big. The Rock is big...Cavill? Not so much...Boy still has a neck.
The Rock is big
Cavill is big.
Cavill is big. The Rock is just freakishly jacked.
Damn, Batman looks straight-up demonic in this shot![]()
Cavill's got facial hair here. #BeardsAreEvil/MySupermanhasababyface![]()
A little OT for this thread in particular, but I wonder if a further incentive for Ben Affleck to direct The Batman is that he'll have say over how much bulk Batman should have after this film, lol. I recall reading that now entering his mid forties he's not looking forward to the lifting regimen that he used to bulk up so much for this film. But BvS's Batman definitely pays homage to Frank Miller's TDKR with that comic's insanely bulky Bats. In future films Ben will presumably be freer to create his own Batman.
I think Cavill's got the equation just right for bulk for Supes. Any more muscle-bound from what we've seen in the BvS trailers and stills would be too much, imho.
Good lord, hairy or shaven, I don't even have a preference.
I do wonder if the is even more pressure, okay maybe "pressure is too strong a word, but perhaps a "suggestion" on Snyder's part, for Henry to look just a bit more imposing for the JL films? Here for BvS Cavs put on ten more pounds, and looks a bit more solid than even in MOS. In JL he will be sharing the screen with Ben, Jason, Ray, Ezra and likely a GL to be named later. Now all those dudes are going to also be in mega shape I am sure. I am thinking Zack does want his Superman to be able to look as imposing as we expect him to, as fans, alongside those guys. Just a thought.
So not being as big as The Rock = not being big?
It's Black Adam![]()
No, it's Anabolic steroids.
Cavill has to look like this if he wants to play Superman correctly.
