That might be it and I'll laugh internally if that all he is doing. It looks more like he's adjusting his tie to me.

Stop posting my Henry Cavill sex fantasies...Oh we are talking about the movie? Carry on.That's what he does adjust the tie and then shirt rip.

Huh?! The shirt rip is an iconic Superman moment.Hm, didn't know this... I'll be quite surprised if there gets to be a shirt rip, but I see some of you guys want it (for whatever reason... I understand why female posters and Sawyer would), so I'll be happy for you, if that's indeed what it is.

Wolfie you fool that's an iconic moment. We've yet to see a shirt rip in this universe.
Not much of a Superman fan here, also I find that trope a bit dated, but I'm fine with both, whether they include it or not.

Anyone else get a George Reeves vibe from Henry Cavill Clark Kent/?
I thought 'shirt rip' during that moment too. Hope it happens. That's what he does adjust the tie and then shirt rip.

Well a signal in the sky is dated too. It makes more sense for Gordan to have some super encrypted mode of communication with Batman... But I'd scream bloody murder if they changed it. It's part of the visual iconography.
That quick moment from the trailer

You make a good point, I'll admit.Even as a huge Sueprman fan, I could do without the shirt rip if it means we're supposed to believe he wears that suit under his clothes all the time.
