Well I do but back on topic. Clark usually fiddles the tie and then he goes for the shirt rip. It's a little moment.
 
I think the tie thing is just him making himself presentable for interviewing on the red carpet (this seems to be the party scene).

Hm, didn't know this... I'll be quite surprised if there gets to be a shirt rip, but I see some of you guys want it (for whatever reason... I understand why female posters and Sawyer would), so I'll be happy for you, if that's indeed what it is.

Wolfie you fool that's an iconic moment. We've yet to see a shirt rip in this universe.

Agreed. I think it's an old trope that I don't think Snyder needs to do. Besides, if he does....where the hell is that long ass cape?!

Well a signal in the sky is dated too. It makes more sense for Gordan to have some super encrypted mode of communication with Batman... But I'd scream bloody murder if they changed it. It's part of the visual iconography.

The shirt rip is iconic. It plays back to hope. And to me personally it means that there's a potential "Superman" under everyone. No joke, as a toddler I tried to dress up as CK more than I did Supes.
 
Even as a huge Sueprman fan, I could do without the shirt rip if it means we're supposed to believe he wears that suit under his clothes all the time.
