I like that Cavill is smiling. Wonder Woman looks great. Batman looks too huge on the cover, and his neck looks terrible in the picture up top.

That's a great picture of superman. Love his little smile.

Oh my I want that magazine, wonder if it will be available in the UK

Also forgot to say how awesome that cover is, Cavill is smiling :woot:

Henry Cavill does Superman as well as anybody post-Reeve could possibly do.
It isn't his fault for certain narrative decisions in MOS.

Swift justice. Yessir. Swift Justice.:cwink:

So is it over? Longest 3 days in internet history. If I got on here more I would have had to put him on ignore.

I was at Wal Mart yesterday and I didn't see this magazine.

I think Henry Cavill is damn near perfect for Superman, I thought so in 2013 and I think so in 2016. Nobody can convince me that he isn't.

In the future after BvS they just need to allow Henry to tone down the angst a little. Let him let his natural charm and sexiness flow man. He could practically play himself and be playing Superman.

Remember too that all the worldbuilding in MoS should pay dividends down the road. We didn't get to see any of the characters in LotR really shine in FotR, right? They were all just being introduced and the world and story were being established. I think Snyder and Terrio can and will do amazing things with Superman before all is said and done. And Cavill should be fantastic as Supes. I still believe Superman will get a standalone, and if so maybe Shazam will be pushed back by a year.

Another thing to consider is that the development of Superman may well be the connecting thread through MoS, BvS, and JL 1. As Marz69 recently speculatedMOS: Birth of Superman BvS: Growth.... to be a hero. JL1: Superman becomes a leader

And if so, the character is should get a lot of screen time in JL1.

Listen I am a defender of the darker growing into himself Superman and of Man of Steel in particular but they do need to give the people what they want eventually. Not a Chris Reeve clone performance or characterization like some obnoxious fans want but just get him past the angst. Even I will get tired of it if it continues past Dawn of Justice.

Unless he's smart enough to get around a ban... But what are the odds?

Like, having another account from..let's say 2013 ?
So I'm not the only one who is suspicious? Good to know.

Why is Drifting, whom has 8 posts, so obsessed with a quickly banned poster? Sorry if my theory isn't correct but suspicious behavior is suspicious behavior.

Totally agree. I think he will continue to grow and become more confident and centered. It looks like in BvS he's walking on eggshells because of what happened with the Black Zero event and the world getting used to the idea of his existence and powers. And he has to hold back his powers because Batman baits him into an epic showdown. So he's really being tested here.

By the end of the film, Doomsday is kind of the perfect creature for him to let loose on, actually.

I think in JL 1 we'll see him step into the leader role and be the Superman we're more accustomed to. And there will be a sense of an epic journey to him getting there.

Chris Terrio said that he looks at Man of Steel, Dawn of Justice and Justice League as a trilogy of sorts so yeah I'm hoping that means that Superman will be full fledged Supes in Justice League.

Theories are fun! I love Matlock on a rainy day. Having a separate account wouldn't help much with an IP ban though.
I just kind of liked the guy.

I'm not saying Routh isn't, but it's nice to see that Cavill is a genuinely nice person.

Routh always seemed like a total sweetheart to me.

I wouldn't be able to speak if I saw Henry Cavill in public.
