Well, Cavill's practically been having a silent campaign for the curl with the way he's had his hair the past year. He's been friggin taunting us with that curl.

It's ironic, really. We finally have a curly-haired Superman and they ditch the curl. He has a curl in real life more often than not.


I didn't dislike his hair in MOS, but I'd like his hair to look similar to this in the movie. It's looser and could easily fall into a curl, but it's still more controlled than his Clark Kent hair. To me, this is perfect superman hair. When he showed up at this event looking like this, I really started believing he could play Supes.

His MOS suit is alien, isn't it? And that's the outfit of Superman. His other clothes are...humanoid, lol. Perhaps I just like the word "humanoid" and scarcely have a chance to use it...

LOL! Humanoid means resembling or being vaguely human in shape or form. I'd say Superman's Kryptonian skinsuit, though alien in origin, more than qualifies as humanoid.

I wouldn't mind it either since we finally have a Superman with naturally curly hair. Cavill could pull it off without it looking Routhy.

Yeah, they need the curl. I mean, his hair does it NATURALLY. Why deprive us of it? It completes the look and wouldn't look anything like Routh's ridiculous lightning bolt curl on an otherwise completely straight head of hair.

You know...I actually like him without the curl. I didn't even really notice it was gone. I'd like him to keep his hair slicked back (blasphemy I know), but I get the impression his hair will be curly as DP Clark. The slick back helps with the secret identity.

Agreed. The natural spit curl Cav-El seems to sport 99% of the time is annoying as hell for those who did want the spit curl (and I did initially!) but I agree that they are making his Supes more polished and his Clark more natural.

One has hair going forwards, one has hair going backwards. THAT'S how no-one ever recognises him, okaaaay?
