Does anyone else think Callan Mulvey would be the perfect Bizarro to Cavill's Superman? I believed he was rumored (or fan-casted) for the Joker too.

I think the first time he was announced everyone assume Metallo. Especially in that photo, it serves itself well to a terminator looking dude

I don't care if people say he'd come off as a Terminator rip off, I wanna see Metallo in a movie dammit.

Given that we have confirmation that Victor Stone does exist within the DCU, and that he'll likely become Cyborg for the latter JL film, having Metallo in this would actually be a great and natural way to present a precursor for Victor's own journey towards becoming Cyborg.

Metallo could be like a "first draft" when it comes to mixing humans with cybernetics....where as Cyborg could be that procedure perfected.

Plus, it'd be a good lesson for Cyborg to see on what he could become if he allows his humanity to be lost like Metallo does.

He can be presented in a way that can be compared as a Terminator rip-off.
The cibernetic controlling tech and making weapons from his body parts and absorbing tech to be more powerful is the best version of the character IMO.

This is AWESOME…. That neck and those traps! It's what makes him look so powerful. I'm telling you guys… that's all Henry's missing. He could be physically perfect. It won't take much for him. He came close in the first movie…
Thank you! I was saying that before and people gave me grief about it. It's not a complaint, it's just something he could achieve pretty easily. And it would look sooo good.

I was just thinking, if this movie does take place 2 years after MoS, would you like him to have his Super Breath? I'd love to see it if theirs a fire or tornado.

A power like arctic breath or super breath would increase the level of fantasy in this Universe and I don't have a problem with that. We are getting Amazons and Atlantis. Why not?

Exactly, I honestly never got why he can shoot fire from his eyes but not breath strong.

I think the pseudo science/techno babble for one seems more convincing.

Heat vision is eyes emitting light. Eyes don't do that, it's actually the opposite of what they do.

Kryptonians could theoretically have some sort of valve in their lungs, and with powerful intercostal muscles, Superman could exhale a great quantity of air.

Totally agree!

Human eyes don't.

Superman's eyes obviously exhibit the ability to emit x-ray radiation, hence why he can see through things. I assume that there are subtle internal differences in his Kryptonian physique (despite his outwardly identical appearance to a human) which allow him to use the reserves of solar energy in his body to project this radiation.

I see his heat vision as a natural progression of x-ray vision - a much, much stronger and more focused burst of intense radiation, which is more akin to a laser beam than the much less dangerous x-rays.

Of course, we are still taking about a comic character so there has to be some suspension of disbelief and artistic 'liberty' concerning certain scientific facts. I do think however that the majority of his powers (x-rays and heat vision included) work believably well within the realms of the MOS reality/universe.

I just want to see Rebuilding Great Wall Vision again. Is that too much to ask?

They had an article last year on Mark Pillow. I didn't recognize him. Some of the hair and muscles are gone.

No eyes do. It's counterproductive to vision to evolve eyes that emit light. It makes you blind.

Superman's eyes absorb x-rays. Not emit them.

Light bulbs emit light, your eyes absorb the light.

emitting light is still the opposite of what eyes do. Also, infared, is less intense than x-rays.

I was responding to the idea that super breath would increase the fantastical nature of the world. Which it doesn't. X-ray vision straddles the line itself, it's fine to absorb x-rays, but they're not that common, so he wouldn't really see anything anyway.

Oooh, did anyone else read that Henry Cavill and Gina Carano adopted an Akita puppy together? Sounds serious.
