Superman will probably show himself in the last 15-20 minutes.

That is silly. This is a modern retelling of the early career of Superman. Lane has been a fan favorite choice for years.

I know some SV fans are passionate but some are trying to find every negative spin on this early process. The show is ending, but we will get a new film with potentially much stronger actors. Cavill is going to be great imo. Certainly a step up from Tom and Brandon.

In my opinion Tom was fine for a tv series about a young Clark Kent, but even in his 30's his acting style and voice just don't show potential for a mature Superman. I think Cavill has the talent, looks, and voice so we are getting a step up. Routh had some of the qualities but Cavill still has a stronger look. We should all be excited for a new film that looks to be pretty exciting.

I also was googling last night when diane was confirmed some more recent photos and she is currently sporting a dark brown hair style. Really with hair/makeup they can make her older/younger when needed.

I just really, really, REALLY dislike Kevin Costner as an actor. I don't know what it is, but everytime I see him in a movie, I just want to punch the screen. I feel the same way about Richard Gere (who, coincidentally, is a frequent co-star of Ms. Lane's).

I'm really digging everything I've seen come out of the Snyder/Nolan camp re: Superman. With Smallville ending, I couldn't possibly imagine a better outcome for Superman fans.

ah ok raku i was just wondering what your reasons where. No problem there, everyone has actors they like/dislike. Personally i have no issues with kevin, and think he would be a suitable choice. But isnt the be all choice either. But since there hasnt been any other names poping up. I think kevin is probably a lock.

Ya oliva is a good talent loved her in tron legacy, and I heard she was good in house. Plus she looks great. And being that cavill is 27/28 yrs old. Oliva is around the same I believe. So it would make cavill and wilde a perfect contempary match.
