How I Met Your Mother - Part 2

Barney naked in the alley picking up chicks as the Terminator was good ****.

HIMYM may not be as funny as Community or 30 Rock or Parks and Rec, but it has more heart than any other show on TV. What makes this show so great is just how much I feel for these characters and how satisfying it was to see Marshall bust through the door. Him getting there may have been cliche, but I was rooting for him like he was my friend because these characters are so well developed and it was rewarding when he got there and came out of the delivery room.

I knew it!!! So they do end up together!!! :awesome:

Can't say I didn't see it coming but it's still awesome. :awesome:

I feel the same way. Sure, it is predictable, but like I said earlier, these characters are so endearing that I want them to have a happy ending and this one makes sense (like Marshall said).

I agree. There's a lot of great character moments in this show. Maybe it's because it's a lot more realistic than the other shows, and as in realistic, I mean less over-the-top than the others.

****. shouldn't happen. I really hope there's another twist about the wedding. Have it be a double wedding or something.

They made a really good case for Quinn and Barney. I don't see them wasting all of that development for them by using this "twist". There's more to it, methinks.

Her show has officially been put on Fox's schedule. I doubt that they will do much more with her.

You're in denial, mate. People said that it was a trick when they revealed Barney last year. It is Barney and Robin.

Quinn always has this sinister look in her eyes. God, can't stand her.

So glad about the bride reveal. I only feel like I saw it coming because I wanted it to happen.

Not a surprise it was Robin surprised by Ted though. Running off with Victoria was crazy since it was her wedding day!!!

No, you shoulda seen it coming when the bride asked to see Ted. I mean, why the f**k would Quinn wanna talk to Ted?

I thought Quinn would maybe get cold feet and bail out on Barney, that would be the last thing Barney needed lol

Glad those two awesomites end up together...

But please tell me Victoria isn't the "Mother"... wait... I just forgot, she can't be!!!

She wasn't in Teds Architecture class! :)

I'd be sort of okay with Victoria being the mother. She's not, but I'd be cool with it.

Not surprised either, Ted said in the beginning that how he met the Mother started when he met Robin. Makes sense it would be at her wedding.

Ted and Victoria really had something unique, compared to his romances with other women.

But it's not the kind of love that'll last a lifetime.

I hate how my DVR only recorded the first half hour. :cmad:

Knew it would be Robin but I was still kind of sad to see it. I thought there would be a twist. 1% of me thought it would be Victoria. Hopefully this time next year, we'll know who the mother is!

I actually thought it could be Victoria too. Especially when Ted said it was a crazy road to the wedding.

There were a few seconds where I too expected Victoria. I was glad it wasn't though. That would make Barney the worst friend ever. :funny:

I liked the misdirect about the disastrous wedding. I really am digging Ted's arc. It is usually the most subtle on the show (by necessity as it is a prolonged arc stretched out over several seasons). He is at his low point. Ted is usually the selfless, great guy. It is what people love about him. But in one selfish moment he became the thing that he hated four years ago when Stella left him at the alter. He became Tony. I think Ted is going to need something of a redemptive arc next season.
