Action Comics 761.

Superman and Wonder Woman are stranded in Asgard for a 1000 years fighting demons.

In the night of a great decisive battle from which they may not come out alive. Wonder Woman makes her advance and the boyscout rejects her because even though she probably died centuries ago, "Lois is stil the only one".

****ing boyscout.... you know, I am SO GLAD Lois banged Cyclops in the movie the second Big Blue left earth!

i mean, Marsden thinks the boy is his son, meaning she probably jumped on his bed the very night his ship lift.

If you read his earlier issues, back during the Nazi concentration camps, they put him in the incenerator....he was waiting for them inside a few hours. They put him in the incinerator like 20 times and he walked out everytime. They shot him in the skull, through the eyes, in every vital organ by a line of 20 men with rifles. He was back the next night. This went on till he drove the Nazi camp leader insane.

So Elijya, even with bullets through his eye sockets into his brain AND under his chin and into his brain, he healed/regenerated. So not even THAT works. As we saw with that explosion, the guy was a damn skeleton and still came back. As to him not having a threat, he still can be beat, knocked out. Deadpool still manages to be interesting and he's basically immortal.

Personally, I love this Deadpoolish run they've got him on. Everyone else gets upgrades, why not Logan? He was already downgraded with the bone claws, it's about time for an upside. Besides, the tears of the frustrated flavor my chicken stir fry.

Exactly. It's this wolverine hate tha has taken over a small portion of fans. Hulk gets upgraded to beyond stupid levels (punching a whole in the fabric of reality) and people love it. ditto deadpool and many others. But god forbid it happens to wolverine

As I said, they just have him lose to offset his popularity and powers, it's a testament to that appeal that he takes losses and still remains as popular as he is. He's got a diehard fanbase.

However, if people only lost to who they SHOULD, then Batman would have never beaten a limited AMAZO, Galactus would have destroyed Earth, Magento wouldn't lose to most anyone, ect.

No Wolverine has been constantly getting an upgrade. When he first came out he was just a regular guy that has unbreakable claws and heals. He recieved a savage beating from some cyborgs and it took him months to heal from that. Then from out of nowhere Logan now has superhuman agility and strength....then superhuman intellect. Now he can heal from having the meat ionized off his bones and all people can say is "'Bout time he got an upgrade"

Wolverine was trapped under a friggin' glacier, he ate his flesh and survived. I'm sure the pressure of a glacier is at least equal to that Tigershark incident. In any case, if being burnt to a crisp and having multiple bullets lodged in his gray matter didn't do it, neither will a deep sea adventure with Nemo.

Fact of the matter is that there haven't been any methods of killing him that are viable here and now.
