The Dark Knight How would you feel about Phillipe if the rumors are true?

How would you feel about Phillipe playing Harvey Dent?

  • Great! I couldn't imagine anyone better for the role!

  • Pretty good. There are others I'd prefer, but this is a good choice.

  • Unsure. I'll wait and see.

  • Pretty bad. They could've done much better, but I guess they could've done worse.

  • Terrible. I can think of very few people who would be worse.

  • I'm so mad I refuse to see this film.

Damn, has the news really hit that far enough, to even get general movie goers talking about it?

Well Judging by this other picture I think that he would make a great two-face.
On the other hand, judging by this other picture I think that he would make a great Poison Ivy.

youre so funny...and right at the same time:)

Well and IF phillips get the part and he wants to fulfill the fans expectations he has to spend the next several month drinking lots of whiskey to become the man he needs to be for the role:o

.....no

no

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

This is a dream.

This is my problem with you people.

How can we judge how good or bad he'll be? I mean, everyone thought Batman Begins itself was going to be amazing. Turns out Nolan can't shoot action or recognize a good script if it hit him in the face for it.

I think that the opinions of Batman Begins fanboys/girls hold very little because they cannot even see how poorly made Batman Begins was.

I can and have said many a time what was wrong and what Nolan should improve upon. I don't suck his pee wee at all even though I have the INWT in my sig. It's just there because I trust him more than I trust Singer. All I know is that if he improves and with goyer not sticking crap oneliners in, maybe this could actually be a great film.

Nolan's brother can work on Goyer's sketches and apply on it a nice coat of some good ones oneliners.

omg!

I wouldn't be against Phillipe being cast as Dent. I trust it would all work out under Nolan's guide and vision. Phillipe isn't my first choice for the role, but I trust whatever Nolan's chooses to do with the franchise.

I'm not even gonna dignify myself with a response to that.

I will be quite surprised, I will be quite...curious why Nolan choose him in particular, I would be quite...dissapointed that someone I like more wasn't cast, but, through all that, I would have quite a bit of confidence Nolan made the right call. Not only does he have more information available to him (screen tests, how Phillipe feels about the role, etc.), but, so far, he's had an excellent track record. I really don't see how I - some random dude on the internet - could go against that. Unless it ends up sucking, obviously.

Unsure. I've never seen one of his movies, but IMO there are better choices in actor-land.

Watch BB SE DVD disk 2 he explains why he shot like that.

For second one I thought it was great how it was shot it's something different then four previousd movies.

you have no credibility....about 95% of fans and critics loved Begins.....sure it had minor flaws....but what film doesn't?

Plus on the DVD....the action and fight sequences are much more clear.

With the fighting style they used, I'm actually glad Nolan filmed it the way he did.

When I was watching the behind-the-scenes look at Batman vs. 4 ninjas, I couldn't help but think "OMG, Batman has his hands glued to his head!". Seriously, I don't even think he used his arms that whole sequence. :O

I think this is a fair comment, a little harshly worded perhaps, but there are certainly a few areas in which begins was below par, ones which many fans have glossed over in a haze of "INWT". If, to some extent, these boards make even the slightest bit of difference to the course of the next movie's production I think it can only be a bad thing for people not to critically analyse casting and other descisions, rather than simply stating "this seems like a bad idea, but INWT, so it'll all work out fine" or something to that effect

What the hell are you talking about? I think YOU'RE harsh If you don't agree you can simply not post.

I trust in Nolan but sametime views can change I never created this "INWT" to say that it will be fine...

What are some "below par" areas in Batman Begins? If you say film editing - I disagree, it played well with the animalistic Batman, Begins was depicting.
