Getting ready for the Houston Screening.......

I don't know about 42E and WB, but we won't be swagless here....

600+ Joker cards (51 different designs) and about 400 Uncle Sam flyers modified to commemorate the event. Still printing other stuff...

Y'all should come on over......

I love the jokerized pics we sent in to the Dent site. All the submissions got Jokerized. That's nuts.

Bring on the JOKER ROLL....

I will be there with my Trucker hat and noise makers along with my Joker-ized "I got Rick Rolled" T-Shirt which reads on the back "Nevah Gonna give you up, Nevah Gonna Let you down..."

BWA-HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!

I'd like to see a pic of that. HAHA

Oh. My. Goodness.

Can I come to Houston? :woot: *in Toronto*

I wanna know why people think many tickets for the same person will be denied? If this were the case, it would have been fixed already. Nowhere does it say you can only have one, Mr. Rice.

Everyone got the Jokerized posters and everything from the main website right?

Ooh, didn't catch that.

I preferred, "The Dork Knight" myself.

Ya - I wish they had an actual version of it - But you know the joker is just a copy cat .... Ever see Be Kind Rewind..... All the Joker is really doing is a less funny sweed

Well, because it wouldn't be very fair.

Let's just say that one guy mananged to get 20 tickets, all with the same name, all using the same IP address, but with different numbers. He goes down to the theater at 9AM and sits to wait. Then his 39 friends get off work, walk into the joint at 8:59 and cut in front of everyone else. Then some people at the end don't get in, all this because he has enough tickets? Now, granteed this is the extreme, but I don't think they are going to let one guy in with more then one ticket. Why do you think they opened the seats on the website after they were sold out? They were checking names, IP's and info.

There will be security there and they will be checking for camera phones and regulating any other shenanigans.

Yeah, I don't know how one person with multiple tickets would pull it off since the tickets say "this ticket is an invitation only for you". Would the one with his/her name on the ticket be 1/2 of every ticket?

Each ticket admits two. The number under your name also plays in the mix.

Oh, I know that. I just mean that someone with say, 10 tickets (all with his/her name on it) would technically have to be a part of each one of those tickets. If that makes any sense at all.

Right, now I got ya.

But you know what I mean... it's just silly that people think they could do that.

It would be terrible if something like that happened and, as someone with one ticket, I really hope it doesn't :).

On the one hand I understand this notion, and I only grabbed tickets for the people who had to go with me (so, er, me and another ticket, and even then, only because I thought it was only admit one), but I do think that grabbing 349284398 tickets is fair enough. I mean greedy yes, but not unfair. I also seemed to notice that the people who did grab an excessive number of tickets had the same problem where they only thought it was admit one, and I've seen them giving away their extra spots, which is good.

I do really think it would be unfair if one guy was holding a spot in line for 39 other people, but just because they should be able to let you in anyway...doesn't mean they'll let you in in the order you want. I think if some guy got tickets for himself and 39 friends it would infuriate everyone else, which would send them packing to the back of the line, at least, but who knows.

I also know that there's a lot of Hype people that are gonna be banding together in line...and I guess it's not really that different.

Hey, these are all pretty awesome. I mean, I won't be there, but I know you make good replicas and everything and I was wondering...would you be willing to share how you do it? I'd love to buy from you but I just spent like, three times as much money as I had on my mom's birthday present, so I've got very little. But I'd be really interested in knowing how you do it so I could try a hand at making some for myself and maybe leaving them places around town when the movie comes out. Plus, it would be a good way to fill the empty chasm in my heart post-movie.

Just curious. I mean even if you just learned it someplace on the internet, I'd love a link. Sounds like good times.

there is certainly a limit to "I snagged a few extra for my friends".. I understand if your friend had obligations and really couldn't be on the computer when the bomb went off...but if you grabbed some for people who knew the bomb was going off and just was negligent.. then i dont believe they deserve to be there... I snagged 2 right away cuz like cinematheque I was hasty and thought it was a ticket per person then realized the truth.. as far as giving away extra spots, that I dont believe in... people coming in here with 3 posts... especially one with the username "needtix" is just ridiculous... I have a hard time just giving it away.. but if someone pays a good price, then that makes up for not being a hardcore fan... cuz as the million dollar man says... everybody has a price.

as far as cutting inline... I'm going to do it cuz a friend of mine in which im giving one of my spots to is going early to stand in line as I have a class till 5:30 and im gonna go directly after. I would think about 3-4 people cutting is no biggie, but more than that is insane and shouldnt happen.

You're right, it was done completely fair. Everyone had their shot to get a ticket, unfortunately for some they couldn't be there when the bomb went off. Suck it up, stop crying, and watch the movie three days later - odds are that you already have a ticket for Friday anyway. I know I do, and I'll see you there.

In the grand scheme of life will it really matter if you see the movie tuesday or friday?

I suggest everyone stop the name calling and start acting civil....or more than warnings will be sent out.
