I agree the Marvel cartoons are not up to par, but I will take their interpretations of the characters over what Fox has done in the recent film.

Take the cartoon.....remove the name Dr.Doom from the audio....play it for people.....and they will say "There is Doctor Doom."

Take the new FF movie....remove any mention of Victor Von Doom from the audio....play the hallway mind blowing scene for people....and they will say "What horror movie monster is that guy?"

In what comic book....in what cartoon series....in what iteration other than this film does Victor Von Doom blow up people's heads with his thoughts? In what way does this say to anyone....Here is Victor Von Doom? Since when is the name Victor Von Doom synonymous with SCANNERS or NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET or HELLRAISER?

That game is great. Still the best other media adaptation of the Fantastic Four. If you can track down the Gold Edition for 360 Doom is even playable.

He's great in Marvel Heroes too. Oh and in Earth's Mightiest Heroes cartoon.

Yes, and that is more or less how it went.

Also, yes, I will take the current crop of Marvel cartoons over Fox's broken movie. And considering I've seldom read Ultimate comics, I'm not too interested in seeing a version of the character I'm not that familiar with portrayed over the version I'm more accustom to.

Because they weren't adapting Ultimate so much as doing their own thing and hiding behind Ultimate to try to appease people. If anything, they threw in a lot of the "Ultimate" stuff during the rewrites. Franklin Storm wasn't in the original script, a Galactus that was NOT a cloud was in it, they were planning an homage to the first Fantastic Four cover, etc.

People aren't saying that. They're saying the terrible cartoon is well above the crap the movies have given us.

They're mediocre at best, and a far cry from the high standards set previously by the DCAU and A:EMH. That being said, the Disney XD programs appear to be doing what they are designed to do - indoctrinate young kids into MCU fandom.

Hopefully the Guardians cartoon, which looks terrific, raises the standard of the Marvel Universe shows.

Did you even read the posts concerning the cartoon Doom? I, and some others, said that.....COMPARED to Trank's Doom....it was done well. We didn't say it was perfect or great....we said that if you compare it to Trank's version of Doom....it is great.
