Maybe there could be a scene at the end from Arkham, a Dr Harleen Quinzel has been assigned to Joker. The very last scene could be her going into his cell and the door closing. Could be a cool little ending.

I always thought Harley would work much better as Joker's "inside woman" at Arkham, the one who enables him to keep escaping. But she manages to keep covering it up despite investigations. It would offer a semblance of logical explanation.

And it would make her much more useful to him than the girly sidekick she usually is. Joker wouldn't accept someone so damn annoying, he'd probably off her after a few hours.

I rather believe that Joker doesn't need anyone's help for him escape.

All the Joker parts in the B3 script? just put Harley in there. it's basically just a sex and costume change. Oh yeah change all the dialogue too . Harley really rocks my boat. She should be the new Joker.

If continuing the copycat theme from TDK, if you can't have the Joker back, you can use the Joker copycat theme to show what an impact he had on the crazies like Shiff Thomas. Maybe Harley can work in that way.

I don't see Riddler working because Joker already used trickery and puzzles in TDK and it would seem just more of what we got already.

Since batman is on the run and being hunted, I think the villain would need to be someone who is a hunter and fits into that theme.

Riddler could work if he was a Fed of some kind. A villain who is in with the good guys. That also ties in with Batman being hunted.

Then you could show the rise of more freakish villains. Maybe a freakish mob boss like Black Mask or something.

perhaps if it was a full mask (covering entire head), and looks more like a skeleton.

I think Harley should be mentioned like Nygma (Fed Nygma) is trying to find out more about Batman and wants to meet Joker and talk. He makes a throw off line like "his psychiatrist won't let me see her, some woman named Quinzel."

yeah. well you'd need to have joker intro her briefly (keep him in the dark) and sending her out to do his work. Then of course he shows up in all his glory and tries to kill her at the end. Having him appear briefly and putting Harley in the limelight would take the edge off a recast but let the movie benefit from the same continuing spirit of the Joker in a sense. Lock him away and he'll still fck you up. He's a spreading disease and every powerful man has a good woman behind him no? Who to cast?

Abbie Cornish and I'm not just being cute. she'd do a hell of a job. but any good actress is just as good, as long as she's not all skanky and rangeless like that Britney Murphy chick everyone used to go on about. Cornish i have kind of a....thing for her though

First of all, the inclusion of Scarecrow was rather clunky in "The Dark Knight"
Second, why in the hell would you assume that a film that hasn't even been greenlit is the third in a trilogy? Are you predicting that there will not be a fourth?
