Nice to get some scraps of info even though it amounts to nothing. But at least we know that Reeves has been talking with the actors about the story so it's getting closer to happening now.
 
What did Sneidermane say about The Penguin before release? Besides that Batman is going to be in it.....
 
For some odd reason its a tradition for people to say that The Batman production is a mess. They basically blamed Matt Reeves for the shut down of filming during COVID and the writer strike. They haven’t even started filming and he is already starting the BS narrative early.
 
Remember when Matt Reeves fell out with Pattinson and Kravitz for shagging on the Batmobile?

The suit is like the ideal synthesis between the classic suit (Adams, Aparo, etc.) and the modern suit (Lee, etc.).
... but I still miss the oval.

On the subject, I really like the look of Batman in the Dark Patterns mini-series.
 
According to the Internet's favorite blonde scooper on the Internet's favorite social media, there's a private DC Studios conference being held today, with a big announcement coming next week.
 
If true, and I see no reason why it wouldn't be as that is something not worth making up, it would be nice to get some news on the sequel.

Hopefully that the script is turned in and it's been given the green light. Especially if it's an overall studio related announcement I would imagine they want the positive news.

Just thinking about what they have right now they could show the Supergirl costume/green lantern one, peacemaker related stuff, potentially announce the Clayface director, maybe news on waller and Sgt rock. Batman sequel news would be the biggest news, unless it's related to brave and the bold.
 
Not to sound conspiratorial, but Gunn just took a photo with Zack Snyder at the same place they had their last big press conference. Smells like smoke.

I don't expect Batman II news at all. Despite jumping in and answering fan questions, Gunn's not really gone out of his way to promote Reeves' stuff in this sort of venue.
 
Press event going down today on the WB lot with info that’ll be revealed on Monday. You don’t do something like that unless it’s a major announcement involving the corporation’s most important asset…

I could see him directing a Lobo movie or something. Not saying I want him anywhere near the DCU, but I do wonder if they’re offering something up to him to “break bread”.

It definitely could but what would be the purpose of having another one so soon after.

Supergirl/lanterns isn't ready for a trailer, Clayface's director just got announced on THR.

Batman related news seems like a good better, whatever it may be.
