The positive is there is no feasible way that season 2 can be worst than its first
How many episodes is next season? The only hope is for the same budget, which would be more per episode.
10How many episodes is next season?
I doubt Netflix will pay what 13 episodes cost for only 10 episodes of content. More likely there may be a higher budget per episode because it's not lumped in with the budget for the other shows. Now Marvel can negotiate a budget more customize to this show. They could say "This is how much we originally thought it would cost, this is how much it actually cost (if they went over budget), and this is how much they would like to make it better. More time for planning and filming action scenes, build set and wardrobe for Kun Lun, etc." but it's much easier to negotiate that when the first season is successful. The 10 episode seems like a compromise to me to prevent cancellation. As in they feel the show has potential but want to limit the potential loss if it were to fail. The only hope is for the same budget, which would be more per episode.
I guess Im one of the few that liked Iron Fist. It set up The Defenders well.

Please elaborate. Because it's a very rare opinion in the world![]()
Mainly because they went in depth with The Hand compared to the other shows.
I think they kinda broke the Hand with so much emphasis on them. They watered them down so to speak.
I appreciate it when they give evil shadow organizations a backstory.
I wish they focused more on human smuggling or sex rings rather than the continued aspect of "heroin". We needed to see more of the evil from The Hand.
I agree, I wouldve preferred for the focus to be more on the 5 fingers instead of just Dannys perspective. Also, there was too much emphasis on the Meachum family, and Joys turn into a bad guy sort of came out of nowhere.
Let's not forget how dumb the Hand's plan was and how they basically lampshaded how the faction heads were trying to kill each other in Iron Fist when they meet again on Defenders.
Or how Madame Gao wasn't set up at all to be part of the Hand in Daredevil S1 and S2.
Which show had that teaser of the costume? Somebody watching some B&W footage of a guy in an Iron Fist suit (with mask) beating up like eight guys in a forest somewhere. Which episode was that? I can't remember anymore.
