Is it just me or is the tide of opinion turning on this movie?

So, the tide has definitely shifted! Check both Youtube and SHH comments. Overwhelming majority liked the trailer and are willing to give the film a chance.

The comments on SHH! have shifted from "This will suck" to "This looks like fun".
People on the Hype who have come into this forum in the past saying the film looked bad have been posting in here saying they liked the trailer.

Why is it so hard to believe that this trailer impressed a large majority of people?

I only brought this up in the first place because you and Dorky said Adam and my own sites are no indication of people views on this film, and that youtube would be a better indicator. Well. . .

It's really hard to believe to be honest. I just don't understand all the praise the trailer seems to be getting. What is so special about it? I think it's a huge exaggeration to say that a "large majority" liked it. I'd say it's more along the lines of 50/50.

As far the Hype goes, I haven't noticed a change. Sorry, but I haven't. I read the comments on the main page and nothing has changed really.

He/she mentions how the YouTube response has been largely positive and the SHH gang are now following suit

Before this, the YouTube comments were in poor taste and largely insulting.
