What tends to happen is that sometimes people express their bigotry and the line between enforcing board rules and enforcing morality gets blurry. And of course feelings are caught, etc. But when you put on the chef's hat, you better get your ass in the kitchen.

The thing is any modding in community (Especially over the last year) is always met with mass hostility so the thread topic would divert to Mods vs Posters and die anyway, just a different form of death to closing

Sure, there are lots of useful/understandable/appropriate things that are done by mods. It's just the things that don't go explained, or seem contradictory, get noticed more. It's the way of things. That's why communication is important.

Yeah, there are bandwagon jumpers that can make it more difficult, but they usually don't jump in unless there is a legitimate reason. And yes, part of taking responsibility is accepting that you may have made a mistake. It's not always dropping blood in a shark tank or whatever the hell you guys have said.
