that ET clip was awesome to see how everyone involved is truly excited and anxious to have the film be seen. I love how dedicated Craig is to making sure Bond is digging back to the roots while also keeping it in tone with Casino and Quantum. I absolutely cannot wait for this film. And the shots look amazing. So much tone and atmosphere in that gif that was shown awhile back with the blue neon sign in the background.

Why is Bond drinking beer a big deal? He drinks all kinds of things, Ian's lavish descriptions of food and drink are usually really great parts of the books. James/Ian enjoy the pleasures in life and revel in food and drink. Any read through the first couple pages of Casino Royal reveals just how much and varied his appetites are (and also make me wonder how the hell he can stand half the time).

In Diamonds Are Forever when Bond and Felix are at the spa in Upstate NY drinking lots of whiskey and branch water. It ends up being his favorite drink and pretty much all he drinks for months.

Also, in Never Send Flowers (by Gardner) Bond drinks Peroni beer with a navy nurse he was seeing when they got a villa together.

now that would be something...I might just do that, for my 30th birthday I'm going to carry around a flask with champagne in it...I'll be one sophisticated son of a *****
