James Bond In Skyfall - Part 5

Does this mean what I think it means?

Skyfall sees Craig take on the role of Bond for the first time since 2008's Quantum of Solace. Dame Judi Dench will reprise her role as M, while Ralph Fiennes, Javier Bardem and Naomie Harris will make their series debuts.

So, if Skyfall isn't their last Bond - I assume Fiennes will become the new M, Bardem an ongoing villain and Harris really is Moneypenny?

I think you're reading too far into it (though that's not to say it's not possible). This is the first time any of them have appeared in a Bond film. Hence, it's their debut into the series - just as Casino Royale was Mads Mikkelsen's debut.

Ya boom is right your reading to much in it. It probably means nothing more then that they are new to bond and ......

Yeah, more than likely. Just a case of me trying to get more news!

it is good news indeed...people read too much into her condition

Got an inconsequential update on the film today. I was at a Q&A with Don Black (who wrote the theme to 4 or 5 Bond films) and he said he spoke to Barbara Broccoli a few days ago and she said the film was coming along very nicely and that fans are really going to love what their doing. It wasn't really much of an update, but it's always nice hearing things are going well from someone on the inside.

Well i dont see why guns on a car would be to out there since we had it in the past. It probably just added on for when needed and in film be some rotating device in car to hide them.

I never liked the aston martin or sports car with the machine guns on the hood or whatever. I just seemed too goofy for me.

I love gadgets and James Bond is synonymous with them. Whether on not they are in cars and so on, I think it's time for them to return in Skyfall. I think most viewers want them back as well.

whos to say they would have to be mounted onto the car could be behind license plates or pop out from lights that isnt to out there. Plus come on having Q back we have to have some gadgets used whats the point of Q if he wont be giving bond weapons and other stuff needed for missions.

Yes. I just hope he hands out physical merchandise/toys and not iPhone applications, ala the Q equivalent in Carte Blanche. I found that pretty boring.

I see Q's gadgets being pretty close to what he have seen in the movies so far. The modified dashboard in Casino Royale and so on and so forth. Maybe some fender mounted machine guns or mounted under the grill of the car...nothing too outlandish I don't think

they can still do gadgets and not get to crazy hell we know craig has said many times he wants to see/do some classic bond ques.

I don't want some stupid invisible car, a watch laser with a grappling hook...stuff like that is stupid. While I enjoy the old Bond films, and own them all, they were silly and unrealistic. If they want to kill this franchise like they did the last then they should bring back all those stupid gadgets and take away the realism that is in the Daniel Craig films

and they dont have to do invisible cars, or laser watches. There is plently of logical and stuff spies really used to do things. Along with any techno stuff if bond needed to hack into a computer and that stuff. Along with tricking out a car, and giving him some new guns.

There was nothing wrong with laser watches as a gadget. Such things didnt hurt the films. However, what did, was the implementation of the invisible car and that sort of absurdity won't be appearing back into the series any time soon.

If where talking realistic gadgets, I think they have a whole lot ot play with considering stuff that have been invented these past years.

ie. "Quantum Locking" which is basicallu hover-tech:

So. Bloody. Cool.

.......

I wouldnt know mate - I wouldnt touch that paper. I dont even refer to it by it's name.

I for one could do without the gadgets. They became a gimmicky crutch for the movies.

But them I am a traditionalist when it comes to Bond. Book accurate or GTFO. LOL.

And yet you'll fork over your cash to see the films. Not quite book accurate, my friend. LOL.
