James Bond In Skyfall - Part 6

I'm so excited Bond is finally returning! A year or so ago I feared we had seen the end of Craig's Bond. So happy! I didn't realize a game was in development also. Gosh I'm outta the loop...

Well that new info for game blows a bit would rather have ability to change from first to third view.

I prefer the third person view as well. Though I thought GE Reloaded played well as a game. I suspect we'll see something very similar, if not exactly the same to that mechanics wise. Using Craig for all of the past missions may be a rights thing, or purely from the time and effort in securing past actors' likeness and voice. And they want their boy Daniel to have his time in the sun.

well they could have always just done sound alike actors.

Craig is a huge gamer so I imagine he probably jumped at the chance to do this.

I can't believe there hasn't been a james bond film to gross over 200 million domestically? I could have sworn casino royale did and actually quantum grossed a little more surprisingly topping at 168 mil.

Despite being a british character bond is ingrained imo more culturally than either a jason bourne or ethan hunt. I know these films always make a lot of money over seas but i'm surprised there hasn't been a push to see bond gross at least as much as the last mission impossible or bourne flick.

I liked the new goldeneye, and bloodstone was fun f short - the more craig bond I get in any medium the better tbh

Possible spoiler in case

Watching over Bond manor?

That pic reminds me of Bond with the shotgun inside Stacey's house during AVTAK.

That looks nice. Is there a HQ of that cover?

Wonder if there's still any activity by those ****heads at NoBlondeBond.com anymore, or have they just accepted that they were in the minority and moved on?

Don't know about that site, but Craignotbond is still alive and well, taking any Skyfall news and giving them their own negative/disastrous spin to somehow discredit Craig and EON. I'm all for wasting time during work and indulging myself with pointless lurking on various sites and fora, but that site was sickening that I didn't last a minute.

See, looking at that cover, and in no way wanting to discredit CR, as it's probably my favorite Bond film, THERE's a balance between the grittier approach, as well as the classic suave version of the character. That image today solidified Craig as my favorite Bond. If I was 85% sure before, I'm 100% now. Mendes will do wonders for this franchise.

Christ, really? It's still going?

I remember joining DanielCraigisJamesBond.com (or something like that) to show my support in direct response to one of those idiotic sites back during production of CR. Cant beleive there are people out there so sad that they are still obsessing over it.

Oh, yeah. Ultimately, Craig's work is the only thing needed to disprove them, not that I blame you for joining.

"Bond's mission has taken him to Shanghai first, and there he gets a lead that the person he is looking for is in Macau. He has one slender lead and it takes him to a casino on a lake. Its a very transitional piece you're seeing tonight. It's just an arrival."

Empire nips inside a dark Gazebo where a huge plasma high-def screen monitor displays the view through Deakins' lens, as Bond stands at the entrance to the Casino, dead centre: "This is definitely the best-looking, most painterly few seconds of Bond that Empire has ever seen."

"Bond is back from the dead" , casino creator Dennis Gassner says, somewhat cryptically. He adds "This whole film is about illusion."

Empire makes an educated guess, from what they have seen during various set visits in February and April, that "Silva's MO has something to do with computers and the control of information".

Lastly, Mendes assures us that Skyfall will see 007 "physically pushing himself".

The cinematography in this movie is surreal. There are so few Bond films that actually feel and look cinematic that I can't believe what I'm seeing here.
