Naomie is easily the prettiest Moneypenny if she turns out to be Moneypenny.

Caroline Blis wasn't bad herself. They had to stick glasses on her to make her seem less of a dollybird though.

I have gleaned some possible big information about Skyfall and I'm inclined to believe it:

In the PTS, a Turkish businessman is given a box with a scorpion in it (which presumably stings him when he opens it) - In one of the newspaper reports the production team were said to be buying props from a shop in Turkey, and one of them was a coffee box that they said a scorpion was going to be put in.

Silva hacks into M's computer, locks out the safety protocols and turns on the gas. MI6 is blown up.

The Bond/Q relationship will still be one of humour.

Severine meets her end by Silva's gun in the chest, at his island.

On Silva's island there is a chase which ends with Silva and Bond falling into a pit infested with huge rats crawling all over them.

We'll just have to wait and I see if it's true I guess. But it all sounds fantastic to me.

The part about the island reminds me of Scaramanga, I could do without the rats though.

Naomie is attractive to me. I wouldn't turn her down plus she looks like a badass in 28 Days Later and Skyfall

The latter aspect does sound quite confronting, but I think it's quite in line with Fleming in that Bond often does battle with/and or features creatures. That aspect seems to be restored in Skyfall with the komodo dragon news, this possible scorpion sequence and maybe the rats.

You Know My Name is great, one of my favorite Bond-songs! Especially in context and the way it's woven into the main score.

Another Way to Die was such a major disappointment.

I always fast forward through the opening credits of QOS. AWTD makes my ears bleed.

the song that was used in the QOS game was FAR better and I like how well it works instead of the Keyes/White one (to me it does).

Marion is still adamant she's not Talia as well. I don't have any evidence to mount a case for her being Moneypenny, just a feeling. They've said this is a Bond movie with all the trimmings, so my mind wanders, you know? It could be the new team being established. Fiennes replacing Dench. Wishaw the new Q. And Harris the new Moneypenny.

And yeah, as for those rumours I posted, I'm inclined to believe them.

Actually, there is something I forgot to add. There was a nugget of information that came out that said Eve *thinks* she's as good as Bond, but soon realises she's not. If she has that mindset, she might be better served elsewhere...

Just curious... did they ever explain why her name is Moneypenny? That always seemed like the strangest code name to me.

Beat me to it. And they are official canon because they are released by IFP and take place concurrently with 3 of Ian's novels. Bond is in there as a side character much like Moneypenny is a in Bond's books. They do go on a date (Final Fling) and it is implied that they had a short relationship years ago when they were both in the Navy.

Her name is Kate Moneypenny. James calls her "Penny" in private. It's not a codename, it's her actual name.

Oh, okay. Well, if Kate is actually her first name, then Naomie most likely isn't playing her, unless they do decide to break canon.
