So I originally thought in the flash back to Harley's origins he doesn't have his tattoos. But If I remember when Harley encountered joker and his car in those set pics and videos where he strikes her he had his tattoos then. He was also wearing that same colored shirt that he has in the scene where he's falling into the pool of acid. So maybe he really does lose his tattoos?

Jared Leto better give great performance because his look is so bad and he need great performance to save it and distract from bad look. I hope he wear clothes alot that not show much of them. But none of them hide face tattoos which look worst. Maybe jewelry and tattoos they get melted away when he take swim in chemicals again lol.

The performance seems to be there, so maybe you're not going to be that "distracted" afterall. I didn't like Nolan's Batman suits, but it never took me away from the movies, you get distracted if you think about it too much.

I'm pretty certain it's still there, you can see a faint mark where the damaged tattoo would be, you can also see the chest tattoo's a bit, hard to say on the grills, the lighting makes it hard to tell

They appear to not be there. Fascinating. And he appears to have a bit of a drawn grin going on around the edges of his mouth. I figure it's probably one of two things:

1.) It's a flashback scene.
2.) They decided to do the grills and teeth in post because they didn't do the makeup that day for some reason, and the shot isn't finished yet.

We may just not be able to see the damaged tat, but you can see his other ones around his neck. As for the grill, you can take those out. I don't think they're permanent. It's obvious this Joker loves his accessories, as he wears rings, necklaces, earrings, etc. I don't think it's a leap to say those are just grills, and not permanent teeth.

I can see the silver in his mouth on that pic. Zoomed way in and i could tell. Also has a drawn on smile, damaged is probably just a little obscured.
