Now i cant wait for this film to release to shush the naysayers up for a bit.

I don't dislike it really. I just think it won't age well.

Wouldn't be so bad if his chest wasn't covered in those ugly tattoos.

That doesn't really mean much in terms of what people think. It just means people are watching it a lot. I watched it a few times, I still don't particularly like the design. SM3's trailer had tons of views, but a lot of people were complaining about the look of the symbiote suit. (And once the film came out, lots of other things).

No one is denying the film has a lot of interest and public attention. People are definitely excited and looking forward to it, but high public attention does not mean everyone loves the look of the Joker. It just means people are looking at it.

Exactly. This is DC's equivalent to The Avengers right now.

Well we already know that the Joker will wear multiple costumes - we've seen him in a suit jacket and shirt already.
Plus on the "won't age well" thought... don't see many people running round in tail-coat evening suits these days do we? Not a look that has aged... however we accept that of the Joker because... well... he's the Joker! The tattoos and grills are very much of the 'now', but if Leto knocks it out of the park in terms of performance... if he nails the character, I think people will forget it pretty quick!

I won't lie. As much as Jesse is starting to grow on me as Lex and I love the casting as Leto as Joker, I think their looks are just off.

I mean let's look at the Trinity for example.

Is there really anything to hate on the design for them? No. There's nothing to hate at all. They look prefect. Only change I would have is maybe on Superman's things on his side, you have them red. Sort of have them as his red underwear or a nod to them without the underwear but overall the suits are perfect.

Then we have Lex looking like...

And Joker looking like...

I mean I'm not trying to hate but it's just odd. We got the perfect designs for Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman but Lex and Joker seem off and different you know?

Now given how Leto has no suit on and Arkham sweatpants, when looking at his jacket hopefully we do see him in more of an Arkham Origins/Bermejo Joker design which I would love.

Still think Leto will kill it. Always have.

I've come to accept "prison" Joker. Street affiliated Joker. Because are just different sides we'll see a glimpse of.




Ultimately Ayer will show us Joker in classic form as well.

the worst part of the Empire cover isn't the tattoos, the shirtlessness, or the jacket. It's the fact that the blue Arkham sweatpants don't match that purple jacket at all. It just looks wrong. I realize that he probably just broke out and doesn't have time to get different pants. But still. It's not visually pleasing.

Joker is flashy now he has some money and can afford to take Harley out on the town. I can forgive the gaudy coat if he wears other stuff in the film which he seems to be doing.

I dunno, in that manip he does, but I can't see his tatz or grillz. We'll see in SS, but right now, I think Ledger would match up better aesthetically.

I think they'll have him more classic in Affleck's Batman movie, obviously if he appears.
Will the tats and teeth remain as they are? Probably. But the solution to that is:
1. Goes to see a top dentist.
2. Takes another dip in the chemicals and that removes the ink from his body.

I am! I'm just addressing those that are saying they want to see a classic looking Batman, opposite a classic looking Joker

The more I see this Joker, the more I realize I wont watch that film in cinema no matter how good it is. Probably waiting for tv release. That's not a Joker. But in heavy irony he looks like a bad designer joke.

I tried and tried to change my attitude towards this since we got first glimpse of Joker. Days passed, weeks and now months and with every new release, footage or pic It just disgust me someone think this was good idea in first place.

Ofcourse this is just my opinion. I changed my mind on Harley after few weeks for instance. Needed time, but Joker seems like different beast all together. Still dont understand how someone can like this or even accept it.
