Tattoos = attempted Toughness now?

Tattoos = attempted Toughness now?
I think some of you are oversimplifying tattoo culture a bit.
It's not exclusive to people wanting to appear "tough."
The moment someone talks about what fictional character they totally wouldn't get intimidated by is the moment I stop reading. Something about feeling the need to proclaim your toughness with respect to someone that doesn't actually exist...on the Internet...iunno...just can't take you seriously.
The movie has become the Joker show, with guest star Harley Quinn. I'm stoked about seeing Big Willie playing a villain for once personally.
Was he not a villain to uncle Phil?

Excellent piece!

You can't be serious with this...

Forget it, Gamma. It's the Hype.
I know this is petty and pointless but it annoys so much when people stand like this. You know with all their weight on one leg and their other leg just forward and dangling there? You're the god damned Batman! Stand confidently with both your feet planted ffs! Nothing about his body language communicates strength or confidence here. He does this on the very last shot of the trailer where he and superman face off on the Batmobile too and it's vaguely annoying to me.
Tom Hardy is a master of body language and one of the reasons Bane came off so powerful.
The look is growing on me, but I definitely as a man would not be intimidated by him.
Shame that you're planning to deprive yourself of seeing a potentially great movie on the big screen alongside thousands (if not millions) of like-minded fans upon release out of selfishness/stubbornness because one visual aspect of the film doesn't line-up with what you wanted or expected to see. I'm sure you'll still be reading this forum heavily around the time of the film's release and absorbing every possible spoiler about the film so you can make your mind up about more things you don't like about the film before ever actually seeing it or having a normal viewing experience of this film.

What's wrong with not wanting to see the movie since he doesn't like something he seen. Promotional materials are meant to promote the movie, if you see something you don't like in the promotion, why see the movie? I don't plan on seeing the movie, I've seen nothing that really "clicks" for me. I visit these forums on occasion to hopefully see something that will change my mind, however, nothing does, this Joker look is awful in my mind and they check promoting it and with every new shot it looks worse.
Well, TheShape's point was that one character doesn't make the entire film. There are other things there, which he might like if he were to give the film a chance instead of letting one character among dozens of them already ruin it to him.
