I noticed that too.
Kinda had me thinking that he might go back regularly for dips in the chemicals to maintain his appearance.

Well, if I stop being sarcastic for a second, it looks ok at best.

I'm not digging the over-the-top "craziness" of Joker and Harley, it just seems like it's trying too hard to me.

The rest is hit-or-miss humor where your mileage will vary. "The voices" bit almost elicited a groan.

There are a couple shots I like but most of it just seems like David Ayer sat down and wrote some bad fan fiction. Before someone jumps on me for enjoying Hannibal, which is on some level Thomas Harris fan fiction, I'm not saying fan fiction is automatically bad. I just find this meh.

True I suppose. In the case of my Leto comment I was perhaps laying it on a little too thick. I've just had a good feeling about Leto outside of some cosmetic stuff. I obviously need to see the film first though.

I'm not sure how on earth you can say this looks like fan fiction at all. Hannibal was fan fiction because it was basically Bryan Fuller and co taking the Quadrilogy of Thomas Harris novels and rewriting it as a love story between Hannibal Lecter and the protagonist of the first novel.

Nothing here seems like it's been massively rewritten or altered from the comics beyond some aesthetics and a slight rejigger of the groups membership. It seems like a standard Suicide Squad story about a bunch of B and C list supervillains going on a suicide mission.

I officially don't care about tats anymore...or the teeth. It didn't bother me at all on screen. They didn't seem so significant with his clothes on and not in a photo but in motion.

He looks awesome...and his goons (most likely) too.

Again, you're not really having any form of discussion here. You're just making snarky comments without any real attempt to express anything remotely resemble a legitimate opinion beyond "lol it sucks".

I tried to engage you in genuine conversation to see why exactly you felt that it didn't live up to your standards and why you felt that the footage was akin to "fan fiction", but you responded by acting rudely like a petulant teenager. For someone so into the Hannibal Lecter series you clearly have no understanding of common courtesy.

Seems like Joker is going to be in this movie a lot and I guess he might team up with the squad in some fashion...

I'm hoping Leto's Joker will be half campy (Nicholson) and half dark (Ledger). It would be the best of both worlds.

He does seem to be a mix of many different Jokers and yet has added his own thing to it. I am very intrigued.
