I'm of the mind that the R rating on the BvS Ultimate Cut will be partly due to Joker killing Robin violently on screen, and Batman beating the **** out of Joker for it

:hehe:

Love this! :sly:

IMDB Trivia
Jared Leto took inspiration from the Batman comic "Arkham Asylum: A Serious House on Serious Earth", which portrayed the Joker as a transcendent, unsettling and seductive person. He also cites gospel music, shamans and Mexican cartels as an influence on the character.

Have you guys checked these other tattoos?

Alex Meraz was one soldiers in the Suicide Squad trailer. You can see him behind Rick Flag when Harley steals the purse at the end of the trailer and there is a shot of him fist bumping Scott Eastwood.

Dick and Jason :woot:

The dkr pic comparison should be updated, leto has a silver jacket and violet shirt.

I actually would love to see Ross' take on the entire DCEU for real. His critics say they dislike his work because "he makes the costumes look too much like they are in the comics ect."

For myself I can't cotton to their view, however I think with his penchant for detail that his illustrations of the looks of the DCEU adaptations would be incredible and textured. Lord knows that I would love to see him do a group shot of the DCEU JL and SS along with a splash page style clash between the heroes and the villains we have so far.

Personally, I don't dislike Ross' work per se as I recognize that he's technically brilliant; what I have the occasional issue with is some of his stylistic choices (overly massive chest-emblems being one). I do find it strange however that for such a seemingly staunch traditionalist on the one occasion where Ross has had the opportunity to adapt a comic-book costume cinematically, strangely enough, he's opted for basic black with the barest whiff of a motif (Spider-Man - which he basically copied years later when designing Buck Cap's costume).

They kinda dropped the ball on The Joker poster. Everyone else on the SS looked great.

Oh well...

It's alright, but.. it feels like pure laziness to just reuse his tattoo design as a poster.
