I'm not crazy about the design but we haven't seen the performance yet so calling him a thug may be well off base.
The tattoos are thuggish and that's what I'm referring to. No two ways about it.

Not to mention the weird teeth implants/grills.

He looks like a South African rapper.

Look a little up. it looks like a bird head. that's why I was a little curious to see others opinions. but they are in other channel right now :funny:

Pretty sick if it was a representation of his murder of Robin.

What if he was part of the Red Hood gang before and they're more like thugs rather than the mafia?

Why would he get HAHAHAHAHAs and what's blatantly, clearly Joker mouth and Jester tattoos all over him if he's in something called The Red Hood gang?

Holy sucky Joker designs Batman. What ass did they pull this tattoo loving punk design from? Of all the Joker designs that's the best they could think of. Imagine what Harley will look like. Probably a punk chick covered head to foot in I :hrt: Joker tats.

The definition of the word anarchist says I'm right.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anarchism

"Anarchism is a political philosophy that advocates stateless societies often defined as self-governed voluntary institutions,[1][2][3][4] but that several authors have defined as more specific institutions based on non-hierarchical free associations.[5][6][7][8] Anarchism holds the state to be undesirable, unnecessary, or harmful.[9][10] While anti-statism is central,[11] anarchism entails opposing authority or hierarchical organisation in the conduct of human relations, including, but not limited to, the state system.[6][12][13][14][15][16][17][18]"

I don't remember Ledger sharing many opinions about self governing communal direct-democracies.

An anarchist is someone who wants to abolish an authority as considering it useless. The Joker considers that the way these people, the schemers have every little detail planned is a 'pathetic attempt to control things'. He wanted to establish chaos by 'upsetting the established order' and in that way he, took control of the situations by planning to get caught to get Lau, the mob's money and being the ultimate Gotham's criminal. But what's more important, he planned all that to confuse Batman, and he did. He lied about Rachel and Harvey's location, bringing Harvey 'down to his level' proving that you're a 'hero today and gone tomorrow'. So he was a true anarchist, taking power by force through upsetting the established order. And it's true that people freak out when something does not come out as planned.

The quotes from the character, the Joker, in the actual movie says you're wrong.

Yeah right like everyone is onboard with Superman's costume in Man of Steel-verse. I don't know which internet you have been reading.

Cant really see how else you could "improve" it. Supermans costume is pretty easy to get right.

Boom, thanks for whoever just posted this out; the tattoos have about the same amount of subtlety as Gotham does. Easiest way I can describe my hate for them... they're so on-the-nose like all of the idiotic things Gotham shoves in your face.

I'm genuinely wondering if WB's new philosophy is "Just make sure not everyone likes it." At least I landed on the good side this once, hey.

Firstly let me say that I still have high hopes for this movie & for Leto BUT this look (if it's official) isn't my cup of tea whatsoever. Tattoos are fine but they just overdid it imo.. + the grill... just too many things going on. Stlil hoping that this is some kind of joke or maybe just a tribute since it's the 75th anniversary.

Secondly.. I appreciate they're doing something different with it but sometimes that's a bad thing.. especially when it comes to the look of the character. I mean look what they did with the Batsuit.. it's like it was ripped straight from a Jim Lee drawing. I don't understand why they couldn't make that happen with The Joker but with a few touches of their own.

Anyway.. rant over. I edited the tattooless pic a bit. Green eyes & whiter skin.

The Tattoos are something I would expect from Mr Zsasz.

I know, lets have him fall into a bath of toxic goo that somehow turns his hair green, his skin white, his lips red, and makes him have a permanent grin on his face. That makes a lot more sense.

The quotes from the character, the Joker, in the actual movie says you're wrong.

The quotes from the movie where he defines anarchism incorrectly. He is not an anarchist. Blowing things up and using the word anarchism in the colloquial sense as a synonym for chaos does not make you an anarchist.

At least someone who is in the logic channel right now.

Waiting for the others...

It would also be pretty sick if the "damaged" tattoo on his forhead was meant to represent how "damaged" he is mentally

Man I hope thats the case! Tattoos are awesome for looking like one thing but representing another.

I have a feeling regwec is going to flip his ****.

reg is an even bigger champ for the dapper Joker look than you, mate. I expect him to go nuclear over this punk rocker band Joker.

This thread should just be renamed, "The Usual Suspects".

Looks like he has a moustache.

And yet I see plenty of *****ing about the Man of Steel costume online because the underwear isn't on the outside.
