I enjoy it for what it is, but I think my appreciation for it over the years had more to do with the garbage that came after it rather than the suit itself. Had a hell of a silhouette though. How do you feel about Burton's Batman, Boom?
He doesn't remind me of Manson. Well a bit of Charlie Manson, but anyway. Nolan's Joker did have some Crow to him though. Clearly inspired by. But they made it work so well, it didn't really matter.

I think this is a sign that Kane52630 is "Mrs. Sawyer" compatible.

Would this have really been so hard?

The Joker isn't a hipster hobo?Hey, Nolan's was a hipster hobo, so hey.

You can add Cara to that list as well.

A sarcastic touche? Better then nothing.Touche.

Leto would look almost exactly like that if he had a shirt and jacket on. Do some of you really believe that The Joker is going to walk around shirtless for the whole movie?
Cut the condescension. I don't give a **** what he wears.
Cut the condescension. I don't give a **** what he wears. Where are his eyebrows?
Will you shut up now? Geez. We get it. You don't like DarthSkywalker. Move on with your life.

The eyebrows take away all the scary and make him look funny. He looks like Jim Carrey.See, I would've been cool with this

You're looking at the image and you see similarities to Manson, you're jumping to the conclusion that they're intentionally aping him and writing it off as them being lazy. That, to me, is lazy.
Just because you're looking at it and seeing Manson doesn't mean that's the one and only source they're drawing from in this new look.

Why are the teeth hated? They seem to be in the realm of Joker possibilities to me.

1. Where are his eyebrows?
2. Why does he have face tattoos - especially the one on his forehead?
3. Why does he have grillz?

Geez!!! Calm down with that rage some of you.. and other defending you didn't even noticed this?

Robin?
Here's hoping Ayers takes notice of these criticisms and chooses to CGI-out the head tat and teeth.
...I can dream, can't I?

I'd tell him to make me a sandwich and he'd be like "Hold on, bae, I've got to make a dozen gif sets".
He wouldn't be Mrs. Sawyer long.
