It's quite ridiculous how much press this has got.. Him and Leto must be laughing their asses off.

Did people really immediately think that was an "official" look? As soon as I saw it with the "Hahaha", Joker smile tattoo, flipping "dead Robin" tattoo in reference to killing Robin and then "Damaged" right smack down on the forehead, I thought, "Oh for Joker 75th" It didn't cross my mind that that would be an official look.

Personally speaking, I did.
If my answer changes sometime later, it's because I forgot my reaction today.

People definitely know there's now a new Joker in town, so I think it's safe to say the reveal worked.

If this ends up not being his actual look they'll have generated so much buzz around the movie by ruffling all the fanlet's feathers that the whole reveal would've been ridiculously effective.
