Agreed, he looks just like he did when he was introduced in the comics. People don't realize that his modern look is a mutation from that older look. This is what he looks like starting out.

Exactly. For all we know he could mutate over time...I wouldn't mind. But I'm happy with what we got

I couldn't buy into the Lizard's look. Killer Croc looks MUCH BETTER to me. If you could look at Lizard and say that wasn't CGI, more power to you....I could tell

i hated nicholson's joker completely. hated it. Jack is a damn good actor, but i just hated the version, everything about it. camp as **** and really lame. even if that was due to the director's and script fault.
can't even remind his laugh, so must have been trash too, sorry to say it.

This is exactly right. He looks exactly like he did in the 1980s, before he was turned into a dull, bestial, dinosaur-man. This design somewhat recalls Lee Bermejo's gangsta-Croc, too.

Anyone who has a problem with 'Squad's Croc is unfamiliar with the character.

Anyone who has a problem with 'Squad's Croc is unfamiliar with the character.

I personally want to see some plausible origin for his... crockiness. There are some actual skin disorders that could create some very similar skin deformation. Since they really went all out you'd definitely need to also mention activation of obsolete genes or something, but I'd like to see them at least make an attempt rather than just "There's a crocodile man. That is all."

I think we'll get a brief explanation of his condition and a general summary of his character (as well as the others) via a "briefing" scene similar to the line up shot in Guardians of the Galaxy.

I hated it at first, but the K-Croc look is growing on me. It looks so much more scary on the leaked photos than in the official one. Maybe mostly because he looked kinda CGI'ish on the official one. Comparing that to the Lizard design, I like the nose on the Lizard design better, but the mouth looked awkward whereas Killer Crocs is about right. Still not the perfect design I hoped for but at this point he can save that with an excellent permormance

I actually saw the opposite of CGIish as it looked like a huge prosthetic that would make almost all facial movement impossible, putting it in the same category as a lot of prosthetics over the years. Like you said, some of the set shots show he's got some wiggle room.

Also, there's no saying it won't be enhanced in post. The beauty of the state of the art in special effects is that practical and CGI effects can work together in harmony and make something incredible. The Alien movies have excelled at this. And it makes it all the more inexcusable for studios with access to both toolsets to refuse to put both of them to use.

I think having the hood up makes it look that much more creepier...
