I think it was a mama whale with her baby and then (if I remember right) the next part cuts to a scene with young Clark and his mother. Very touching.

Lambo did a great job but I agree. The Injustice costume is too busy and frankly, kind of awkward. Even Momoa in the manip looks like he's saying "I know, I know... We'll do better next time."

Oh Lambo definitely did well, it's not his work that is the issue, as you guys say, it's too busy.

The design of the costume doesn't look like something Wilkinson and Snyder would opt for. Somebody brought it up before but I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Aquaman were shirtless.

Superman has had his regular look, with very little radical changes for a long time. Sure, Red and Blue split Supes, Black Suit during Reign, that's happened, but generally he's been the same, tweaks here and there. With WW and Aquaman they've tried to do things with the look quite a bit which lasted more than for a story arc or a few issues. I'd like to see that acknowledged on film in some way. So if AquaMamoa is shirtless in some parts either in BvS, JL or Zod willing a solo outing, I don't have a problem with that.
