Short hair and beard for BvS and JL, as they give him added gravitas, then if a solo film comes down the pike, longer hair and clean shaven for an origin tale where he has to look younger.

Is it just me or does he look a lot like Chris Hemsworth in this pic? Funny, considering I've always said Hemsworth would be the perfect Aquaman.

Well, I finally got around to watching him act last night. Watched Conan, crappy movie but I thought he was pretty good. He looks natural while fighting and sounds natural in the scenes when he's talking. Nothing too cheesy. His action poses aren't the typical cheesy ones we see in these movies, almost like he worked on showing different ones. None of the whiplash head turns into deep stares you see in these type of movies and no screaming crappy one liners, he never really did any of the corny grunting noises you see in alot of these movies with alot of combat scenes, it was a mostly natural feeling performance overall (minus the very last scene, which I'm shocked Directors haven't figured out how stupid that looks). Other than him not being the traditional blonde Arthur Curry, I'd say this might be my favorite casting choice so far (I like the Gadot choice/content with Affleck).

I have always liked the Hamilton "wave" suit. It looks awesome on the first cover to the 80's AM mini.

So I was chatting with a buddy and he said that in universe, the explanation for AM's gold scale shirt is that it's what Atlantean prisoner's wore when Arthur was imprisoned when he came upon Atlantis. This was in the mini from the 80's I assume. Is that correct? I haven't read that in maybe 20 years.

Also, since we assume AM in both BvS and JL, how about some moments of differing looks? I would love a stealth Sea mission with AM in some version of the wave suit.
