Bingo. I didn't care for Avatar but it had a nice look and Cameron could probably do cool stuff with Atlantis.

I don't doubt Cameron's work but he'll be far too busy with Avatar, and well, he doesn't really strike me as someone who is actually interested in anything that isn't his own idea.

They're writing separate scripts. That way, WB can look at both scripts and effectively merge them into one (or at least merge the elements they like).

I'm a bit bummed WB's priority after DOJ and JL is Aquaman, rather than Wonder Woman.

We don't know that, they could be working on getting several movies on track at the same time.

Cameron isn't very realistic for a couple reasons but I don't see how Peter Jackson is any less realistic than other people. He has done adaptions before, has done big budget movies, has made WB billions at the box office, and doesn't have anything going on after this year.
