Will Ferrell = Quint.
I find that particular subject fascinating. As I've watched a few documentaries on the attacks. Ditto on The USS Indianapolis as well.I'd like to see a 6 part mini-series on the Jersey Shore shark attacks of 1916 that inspired the novel.

A CG shark in the movie would be horrible if they red did the original. Something about a CG shark seems fake as hell. There was something about the shark in that film that was terrifying, and it's hard to place why. I can't be afraid of a shark from a computer. Maybe it was because he was built for real and you can imagine yourself with it it's much more terrifying.
i think they should use the approach : ''what works the best for the scene''.I am not against the idea of using CGI for the shark...BUT...I wouldn't want it to be COMPLETELY CGI. I would still like some practical effects used just for those certain shots. Like for example I wouldn't think the scene with Quint's demise would have had as much of an impact if the shark were CG.

in Bay's movies CGI is perfect and he always uses real sets.Well hopefully they don't get a director like Michael Bay or Stephen Sommers who use the approach: "CGI first, ask questions later."

f.... bad example dude![]()
SHUT UP!
Just kiddin.Bay's action dumb movies > other dumb action movies.
this is my biggest problem with SHH when it comes to Bay. i say good action and you go '' dumb''.Should have figured you would have defended his big dumb action movies...lol. But I believes the actors at least Megan Fox said she didn't even know what the Transformers actually looked like until she actually saw the movie. My point wasn't whether the CGI was good or bad just that he overuses it. I don't want a Jaws movie where the actors are reacting to a CGI shark through the whole ****ing thing like in Transformers.
