Well that's just you, man. Archery is one of those things that either you like or you don't. Just like some people don't like guns or some people prefer swords or prefer non-powered heroes to superpowered heroes.
I think every incarnation of Hawkeye has been awesome so far (except for maybe the 90s Avengers cartoon) and hope to see more of him. Maybe they'll even mention his circus background or a history with Taskmaster. Now there's an assassin I'd like to see on the big screen. Maybe as a Hydra agent to counter SHIELD's Hawkeye. It'd be cool if they were former partners, even, or had a history before that (like growing up in the circus or student-teacher).
It'd be a great way to sneak in Avengers moves too like Cap's fighting style and his moves with his shield or Black Widow's luchador type of fighting. Taskmaster may not be an Avengers level threat but he'd be a big deal for guys like Hawkeye, Black Widow, Nick fury, and even Captain America.

Yeah so Hawkeye's archery technique is dodgy (Renner talked about that in an interview, he actually learned how to use a bow and everything, but the movie called for superhero type moves, so yeah... that happened. ) And who cares if arrows don't line up with his eyes! The guy who did that essay should've done one on a documentary of archery not on a movie based on a comic book. geez
