Well, I've got a post up. It's kinda short, but I'm trying to slowly reveal more of Wilson's character and background, akin to the actual show. Anyhoo, I left it where people can come and interact with him if they wish.

Just another question, on the first night, did the Monster (It's hard to break the habit of calling it by it's true name to avoid spoiling it for MM, lol) do it's "Rawr Crash Clank" intro like in the series, or are we not aware of it's existence yet?

Yeah, I was going to have something like "Now he was stuck on an island with Yanks. Yanks and a monster. Whichever was worse", but I wasn't sure whether it had been encountered yet. As you can tell, btw, Wilson doesn't like Americans .

Haha, Wilson would, but he's trying to stay away, so I'm going to wait until someone talks to him or he has no choice but to interact with others.

Not I. For one, I honestly don't think that last post made much sense. First of all, how the hell does Claire know her baby "isn't surviving?" I get maternal instinct and all that stuff but, honestly, honestly, it doesn't make a lick of sense that Claire would think that her baby was dying. Plus, I think the conversation ended a little abruptly. Why would Kate strike up a conversation about Claire's baby, only to say something to the effect of "oh, nevermind, I don't want you to know me." That just seems so... unnatural.

Plus, as I recall, Kate put her own mask on and then put Mar's own mask on, saving his life.

That's just semantic, though.

I'm just going to say two things;

First, the game is off to a great start. We've got some spooky ***** coming up, so make sure to stay on top of things; you don't want to get left out.

And second, I can't help but agree with MM, Harley. You should try reading your posts once you finish typing them, because a lot of stuff doesn't make any sort of sense, with regards to content and grammar.

I'm just going to say one thing, in addition to Sensei's two things:

Just so everyone is aware, this game has very little in common with the show. So, if you're going to have your character venture out into the wilderness of the island to find something (like the smoke monster or a DHARMA station, for instance) just be warned that it's not going to relate at all to the show. Very little of what has happened through the show's plot will occur in this L O S T game. Sensei and I have been planning plot twists that will come at a pretty steady pace, and we'll reveal clues as to the island's mysteries. If people take the island's secrets into their own hands and start formulating their own plot points, things will spiral out of control fast.

We're in favor of people pitching us ideas via PM or MSN and such, but random plot developments will result in chaos. And not the fun type, with agents who wear white, red, and black makeup.

If any of you read the application 2 posts up ignore it. I'm not sure that's who I want to be and I'm still debating on whether or not to be a new character or existing one. As a father I wouldn't mind Michael, but Walt's unexplained mysteriousness is something I'm not sure I want to play with.

If any of you read the application 2 posts up ignore it. I'm not sure that's who I want to be and I'm still debating on whether or not to be a new character or existing one. As a father I wouldn't mind Michael, but Walt's unexplained mysteriousness is something I'm not sure I want to play with.

If you're interested in pursuing Michael as a character, MM and I would be more than happy to chat over Messenger to deal with Walt's 'situation'. Or, if you so choose, you could just as well have Walt be a normal kid. Because, again, we're making our own Lost, not adhering to what's happened on the show. Just because Walt was special there, doesn't mean he needs to be here.

Seriously, Walt seems pretty darn normal to me. Yeah yeah I know Walt's stepfather seemed to regard him as peculiar, but I always assumed it was just because the stepfather was a cold, distant-hearted dumbass of a stepfather. And the Others are just bat-**** insane to me really (still in mid-Season 3), so their opinion on Walt means jack squat to me.

Btw anyone wanna make character banners for those of use RPers who were born less-fortunate in artistic skills (including me)? I'd love a Boone banner!

I'll tell you what. I'm leaning toward the Walt being normal thing to make it easier, but if it makes your storyline idea better to have him be special then I'm willing to play along. You can PM me whatever I'd need to know for him. And as a hopeful novelist, I understand the need to keep secrets so I won't repeat what is said.

That's a pretty fantastic idea, and exactly what the game gives people a chance to do.
