I'd love for some of that 90s era sci-fi charm in the film, Godzilla vs Destroyer or even King Gidorah are some of the best of the genre IMO
I'd rather just pretend those comics don't exist lol.I hope they take their cues from the direction IDW has taken with their comic series. The coming of Godzilla (and possibly other monsters) is a big, apocalyptic thing, and when the kaiju appear, it's totally awe-inspiring.
Not only is Legendary bringing the Lizard to comic con but get this, I hear the presentation is SICK! Im not going to get into specific spoiler territory because then whats the point of attending the panel, but take this one to the bank.
Godzilla will stomp both the audio and video systems within Hall H two weeks from this Saturday! Ill be there to witness it myself. I can already envision them shutting down the lights, hearing Godzillas roar, and the crowd going wild!
Anyway, Max Borenstein is currently re-writing the script from David Goyer. Gareth Edwards is directing.
awesome...on a side note, they can leave politics out of this. I don't wanna hear who is to blame for Godzilla. Yes, I want a good story, but no ''that bad ol' America is to blame for Godzilla.''
Just bring us a good film with a Godzilla that LOOKS like Godzilla is supposed too, and give him a monster to fight with lots of city stomping fun thrown in..
yeah plus I think it would be a huge missed oppurtunity to disregard the original point to godzilla.
I can't get very exited for Pacific Rim because it may end the chances of a Godzilla reboot or of a long promised Evangelion Live-Action Trilogy
