Lex Luthor needs to be redefined, and that will take a great actor.

I want someone with great acting chops, sure. But I also want someone who will encompass the role and truly own it.

I love Leo, but he's not Lex.

I'm terrible when it comes to casting. I never thought Affleck would be cast as Batman and I have no idea who they should cast as Lex.

Personally, I don't need an A-list actor.

I like that Snyder wants an A-lister for the role.

It feels like someone we all know and love, like people in the movie, see their hero turn into a raging psychopath when he can't beat his rival!

I rather have an A-lister who hasn't played a villain before.

Usually when people suggest Olyphant (I'm not saying you are amongst the following btw) they say things like cold, calculating, nefarious etc. But what they mean is bald, bald, bald.

He is still my choice even if they decide to have a Luthor with hair.

After the Health Ledger fiasco, I'm personally beyond this line of thinking.

Ledger did have the advantage of being able to disappear behind makeup, though. It was a phenomenal performance, but that was a significant factor in seeing the character instead of the actor.
