If people think Bryan Cranston is too old at 57, isn't Mark Strong like 51, 52 now?

I'm just hoping like Bale and Cavill, WB will listen to the fans about Cranston as Gordon.

I think they have, mind...if El Mayimbe's to be believed. ..

Where did El Mayimbe say this? I haven't been able to find it.

He removes a lot of his tweets for some reason.

But he has hinted at Cranston being Gordon a few times now.

Cranston is a much better choice for Gordon than Lex, IMO.

Not what I'd like to see from Lex at all in this series.

I would not be shocked at all if Gordon will not even be in the film. I think they're probably saving introducing some of the batman side-character, gordon, alfred even for the next Batman solo film.

This is probably an older more experienced Batman coming to metropolis.

I hope you are right. Gordon is utterly boring (all police are boring, apart from Denzel Washington in Training Day), and I'd hate for Gordon to be eating up screentime in an action-packed blockbuster. Or if Gordon is in it, he should be killed.

they're filming in detroit, which means it'll probably be a stand in for gotham. it is quite likely that gordon is in this.

I want it to be predominately a Superman film, but I think there could be enough room for Batman's love interest, small roles from Gordon, Alfred, and Dick

Alfred will probably follow Bruce to Metropolis. Probably having a role the size of Alan Napier's I'd guess. He's there for a quick confide and to give a little advice.

Gordon just MIGHT make a cameo. Batman would have to explain he's leaving Gotham for a bit. Of course, it could be offscreen. But it would be nice for fans to see the character.

I doubt Gordon will be in this. Batman himself will probably have only a small role. The Batman fans will be cut, but I think the promoting of this film is a money-grabbing smokescreen for what is MOS2 without much Bat at all. Think Scarlett Johansson's role in Iron Man 2.

You keep thinking that let me know how it goes come July 2015

Superman fans really need to stop assuming that Batman will have a some small role.

I understand it's a continuation of his story, and Batman is stepping into his territory. ..but it's highly unlikely Batman will have some sort of small role.

The film will likely be 60% dedicated to Supes and 40% to Batman. 50-50 is probably asking the Superman fans too much :o

I wish Lex wasn't going to be in this movie.

Having his introduction in this universe be in a team up movie just seems wrong to me. He's Superman's arch nemesis... they deserve to have their own personal introduction and showdown, without Batman being involved.

Personally I would prefer the toyman and clayface but what are you gonna do lol

Lex needs to come in now. With all the fall-out from MOS, they need to show the side of humanity displaying extreme prejudice, distrust and hate towards the "alien" for all the destruction and devastation that occurred. Who better than to represent and symbolize that better than Lex Luthor?

Agreed 100%, I've said the same thing. Personally, I think Brainiac is long overdue for a film role, and though I do tire of Benedict Cumberbatch being fancasted for every role under the sun, I think he's a great fit for Brainiac
