Billy Zane brings the movie down, I'm positive they won't cast him. He is the definition of washed up and was never that good to begin with.

Matthew McConaughey, Viggo Mortensen, or Bryan Cranston as Lex.

Billy Zane looks alright for the part, and is bald. Posting pictures of him looking alright for the part, and being bald, changes little because we have always known him to look alright for the part, and to be bald.

We have also always known him to a feeble actor devoid of any screen presence, on whom any sizeable role in a project of this nature would be a lamentable waste.

I would like to see Oscar Isaac as Lex. Which isn't really all that unlikely, since Snyder's worked with him before, and while he doesn't reuse actors as heavily as Tarantino or Scorsese, he does occasionally.

Billy Zane is the pitch-perfect physical embodiment of Lex, but that's about it

As long as he's a really competent actor I'm down for whoever is chosen to be Lex. With that said, I'm still hoping for Joaquin Phoenix.

I'm betting its gonna be a huge name to make an impact. Much like how crowe and costner's name made folks do a double take with MoS. It could be a no name, but I doubt it.
I'm thinking it will be a name up there with a depp, day-lewis, or damon but not necessarily any of those, ( well maybe damon ). It's Lex afterall. IMO you need a proven actor that has the chops to pull him off.
