He's got the upper class *****ebag shtick down pat (both with the characters he's played and in real life), the build, the voice, the creepiness...

Still prefer Hall, Damon, Ejiofor, or Strong though.

There was an individual seen on set with Cavil that looked and dressed exactly like Reeve's DP Clark Kent. There is supposed to have been a scene where Cavil looks this person over.

I doubt that was ever even in the movie. That would have been humorous.

Have you seen the pics? Look at them and tell me, in this day and age that it's a coincidence that some extra in a film set in the modern day is dressed so precisely. It was not just a three piece suit, it mimicked Reeve's Clark DP wardrobe to a T.

Yep. BvS would be coming out around 6-9 months after Everest and Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, when he should be starting to appear on the tip of people's tongues.

If the rumor about Lex being the "Golden Boy" is true another new I would throw in the pot would be Scandal's Tony Goldwyn . He can go from being charming, compassionate, to evil and mad . He's actually been around a while and use to play villains before his Scandal gig. He's already playing the President so if they ever go that route for Lex he's got it down. He'd be more in the Shea mold of Luthor though and he'd look odd bald. I could see him though if they ditch the bald cap.

You are not crazy. I think Hammer could play a very interesting Lex. So I'm glad to know I'm not alone in this.

I also want a younger Lex. I don't want him old.

Yeah I agree. I mean, i'm fine with someone in their 40s, but I don't want anyone much older than that, and it'd be much more interesting if they were closer in age to Cavill.
