Didn't Snyder say that he didn't necessarily think that Lex NEEDED to be bald? So maybe Lex will have hair in the next movie, or maybe he'll star with hair and lose it over the course of the movie.

he did not say that in that context. he said it as a joke and everyone took it literally.

but if he didnt...lets suggest actors who have...hair? sounds awful

Steven Segal for Lex Luthor. Lex Luthor's kryptonite are chocolate doughnuts!

Well, you'd wouldn't really be getting Seagal as Lex so much as Seagal's body double as Lex. Seagal has had a few to many five course dinners and tends to let his doubles do most of the work these days.

^Ha. Seagal won't even do ADR for his crappy direct to cable "movies" he goes to Prague to film.

Say what you want about Arnold and Sly, but at least they clearly still have passion for what they do and go out of their way to keep themselves fit. Seagal, not so much.

What's the consensus about how physical Lex should be in this thing? I want a minimal amount of Luthor getting his hands directly dirty, as it were. No battle suit this time out. At best, I would want maybe Batman roughing him up a little. But no direct fisticuffs with our Man of Steel.

I don't really see the need for Lex to punch anyone, but then I am in the minority that doesn't understand the need for him to be young, muscular and handsome.

I don't want him to be young, muscular and handsome just for the effect...though there's nothing wrong with that. I just think it will be more interesting to see his decline into the bald, ugly Lex we are more familiar with. I hope we get a little of Lex in this film, so when you first meet him he is the ideal of the man who has everything. Then you'll see him lose it all because of jealous, envy, etc.

I have not accepted the "He stole my beautiful hair" reasoning for Luthor's vendetta against Superman since I was a wee itty bitty lad. That stated, I would love for Lex to have it all when we first see him, and by the end of the film he's at least lost his hair and it is because of something connected to Superman. I don't want it to be a FOCAL point for ole Lexy, but it would be one of many irons thrown into the "I hate Superman" fire.

Cancer. From overexposure to the Kryptonite.

He has chemotherapy, shaves his hair off, wears the black glove to hide his tumour ridden hand.

How about james franco?
LOL! The guy with a real-life chip on his shoulder about Henry Cavill big enough to show up to the MoS premiere event, then write an "opinion piece" about the movie that ended up being all about himself, while trying to throw shade on Henry? As amusing as that prospect is, no thanks.

I didn't get that impression from his MOS review.

You must have read a different review than what I did
