This is a continuation thread, the old thread is [split]509809[/split]
Idk when it comes to reimagining I think the best way to go is to think: "Alright if I made all the changes to whatever will it still resemble the character"
The X-Men movies really reimagined the character's costumes but Wolverine still had his trademark weird hair, Storm still had her cape, Cyclops still had her visor. I think that's the best way to go about things imo
But my feelings about the costume aside we'll see how the film turns out.

I wish that the cleavage cut in the middle wasn't so low (she's already sexy enough costume people, no need for that). BUT, it's an interesting design nonetheless (I hadn't thought of the Tommy connection, but that's an interesting possibility).
I'm curious to see/hear what kind of voice she uses?
no i just think they realized rita looks freaking stupid in her original costume so they redesigned her for the better
A little early to say that don't you think? This.
I find the reimaging for Rita too extreme for my tastes.
No bunns...no scepter...no cone boobs? Visually i feel it needed one of those peices to be recognizeable as Rita. Oh well.

Im finding it amusing reading comments on other forums where people are disapointed because it looks 'grim dark' The costume looks like it would fit right in with Stark Trek or The Fifth Element which are both very non grim dark films
Her costume is one of the things that made Rita, Rita. In my opinion at least. That's like if Zack Snyder took off the cape along with the red underwear for Superman and gave him a helmet to hide his S curl cause it looked cheesy. We'd be pissed.
Looks a lot more modern and Sci-fi which what this movie needed. For anyone wondering what the old Rita looks like this is her from the 1995 film.
