Im getting less interested in the look they chose or whatever fx team created the costumes.

Weta Workshop built the costumes.

I'll add those complaining about the lack of unique helmet at this low res, are outrageous.

They look great!
Worst fears that they'd be completley unrecognizable have been quashed.
We got pretty much what I expected.
They don't look like armor, that flew in iron-man style to assemble and clank around them.
The don't look like Batman or gi-joe, assembled from pseudo-military riot police parts.
They look Alien + an organic, I can picture these growing/morphing around them naturally, which is the right thematic approach.
They got that!
Also they did not shy away from color, and go mostly black X-men, all leather with just hints of color.
They unapologetically embraced the full color themes that are Power Rangers. You can't be more in your face with color themes.
They did it.
They referenced the diamond design, but without the harlequin costume look, and pulled the white elements stemming from it, into slick organic designs throughout.
The Helmets seem to have a more subtle uniform (les caricaturey) designs, can't wait to see the upclose details on each one, to show how they are unique!

And can't wait to see them with their individual weapons.

I find this quite odd coming from you, when you've mostly been posting photos of what you want the Rangers to look like.......and they've either looked close to this or far worse.

Anywho, I love them. They're gonna look amazing in action with the lighting and fighting and everything. Also, it looks to me like Rita herself IS the Green Ranger. We might get Tommy as the White Ranger in the sequel. It would be too redundant to repeat another green villain in the next movie.

A lot of the time when I posted images I would mention if it was either what I wanted to see or if it was what I imagined Hollywood was going to give us. I think the pictures that I posted that were my guesses as to what Hollywood would give us are quite similar to what we got.

However I dont think they resemble what I personally wanted and was suggesting. I have a pinterest page with 500 pics that show a lot of what I was going for with my own ideas and its really nothing like this.

Im not having a go at anyone for liking the suits and I am happy for you all but I personally dont like them and considering the stupid amount of time that I have spent in this thread I think its pretty logical for me to express my thoughts on them.

Or, you know, they could all look instantly recognizable like Jason and Kimberly. And all the high-res images in the world won't change the fact that their visors look too similar. Jason is the only one with a unique visor.

Good lord, they are horrible. The helmet fits are amazingly bad in the forehead/eye region, and they are so derivative, it is painful.

Or, you know, they could all look instantly recognizable like Jason and Kimberly. And all the high-res images in the world won't change the fact that their visors look too similar. Jason is the only one with a unique visor.

They all have different detail emphasising their beasts, just nat as cartoony/caricaturey as on the TV show.

I do agree that the suits are a bit too overdesigned, but I think that was to be expected. Nowadays it seems that abundance of details equals a good design, which definitely isn't always the case. But I digress

Yall complaining about heels like the original Pink Ranger costume didn't come with a pencil skirt.

Who's y'all? lol I'm pretty sure I'm the only one who did. And I stand by what I said, the heels and the breastplates are dumb, not to mention a really tired trope. Also, aren't these girls supposed to be teenagers? I know the actresses aren't but the characters they're playing are. That's kinda creepy.

And Kimberly's skirt was cute. I kinda wish they'd have found a way to incorporate it in the new design actually.
