I watched Jodi Benson's panel at a Baltimore comic convention, which was done in October/November 2022.

She mentioned that she's long term friends with Rob Marshall and Bob DeLuca -- and she got multiple sneak peeks at the movie in progress. She's very excited about it.

I might see this movie despite my better judgment.

They were all more like realistic movie villains, compared to the animated versions.
Except Gaston - he was pretty much like the animated version. Not very glamorous

I guess the official trailer will be hitting within the next couple of weeks and be attached to Quantumania but that low quality version was enough for me to think this could be the best of the Renaissance live action remakes.
