At this point, everyone should probably just save themselves the headache
"The X-Men movies are all standalone films with no continuity"
Best way to view them
X-Men: Apocalypse apparently forgot that it was Mystique who had Wolverine at the end of DOFP, not the real Stryker.
Stil don't get why people have an issue with this, it was shown in apocalypse she was going around saving mutants and she saved wolverine so technically we found out what that was about and since it was 10 years later why would she still have him? because the end of DOFP felt like a cliff hanger? it is a weird one that people are hung up on that when nothing was promised there at all as to what it meant.
They don't even officially need to reboot for that. Just make films in the present that align with what Deadpool established and let the flagship films catch up in a couple films depending on where they set Deadpool. They just gotta stop making drastic leaps like killing off mutants with some virus and not contradict Deadpool and or this film and they'll be fine.Honestly, this movie would make a lot of sense if they were rebooting everything. The end of the singer x-men saga.
Yet they let singer direct an entirely new cast with an appearance from Hugh's wolverine. Fox is so confusing lol. They really should just use Deadpool as the starting point for the rebooted x-men universe with x-force and new mutants on.
So......any chance for the Brown/ Gold costume?t:
I kid, I kid (but seriously, I want my brown costume at some point)![]()
the ending of a movie about time-travelling to change the past implied that things had successfully been changed, but then the next film ten years later Logan still ended up in the same exact place
the producers and director can say it's the whole "flowing river" time theory or whatever, but it's not hard to see why people (and especially general audiences who don't listen to interviews) would think that was a little weird
You damn right![]()

Just imagine how Xavier feels, if he's lost all his kids all over again (it damn near destroyed him the first time in DOFP), and then recapturing a tiny scrap of it at that dinner table with Logan and the girl.
Patrick is so gonna bring the feels, I can already tell. The weariness and frailty, but still the eternal compassion and hope ("someone has come along").
A little flashback filling in the gaps of Logan's time on the X-Men post 1983 to 2024 would be good.
Forget the tights. I hope he'll eventually get the duster.

And no, I don't buy the "well she was helping other mutants" because that wasn't the cliffhanger of the movie. Don't do something like that if you have no intentions of paying it off, or explaining why Logan is in Weapon X all of a sudden in the next movie.
You guys think theyre really gonna go DARK with it and have Wolvie be the one who annihilated the Xmen? Like the comic? Or is that bridge too far?
