The feels 😢

Just bought my tickets for the IMax showing on Thursday

Can't wait! But I am also getting the feeling that I will be shedding tears by the time the credits roll

I'll miss those three. :csad:

FOX will have to pull out all the stops to keep me interested in this franchise moving forward.

your not alone.the prospect of simon kinberg directing next flagship X_men film excites nobody and while i know well what fox's plan is fact remains FC cast just doesn't appeal to people like OT cast did.

Personally i wouldn't rule out they could bring back stewart and mckellen if there was a good purpose for it, although i doubt they are a priority in their current plans and its probably not a certainty but it is still a possibility.

it would have to be for present day set film.i really don't know if they would work for deadpool 2 or 3 or X_force or gambit.

If we saw stewart again i feel only chance is the fox tv show.

I'm seeing Logan on Friday at the VIP theatre and I've avoided this thread like the plague to avoid spoilers. But come Saturday...:awesome:

Can't wait.

Its the probably the actors.

Anyway I'm not that sad, Xavier/Logan/Magneto already got a huge role and the actors who portrayed them. They are just over developed and this point.

The only thing I hate about this is we won't see the other Ot cast members that have yet to fully shine with characters that they are portraying that have also yet to truly shine except for Famke/Jean.

A week prior attending this event I had a press screening for the film with my website on the guest list and everything for which I was the only guy in my theater who didn't love it as much as everyone else

Last night, I took 4 of my friends from high school to the premiere of Logan to recapture the memory that we had in 2016 when we went to the premiere of Deadpool in which I won this Deadpool sweater

for dancing against two guys dressed in Deadpool cosplay due to everyone chanting my name.

Last night I wore my sweater and went inside the Lincoln Jazz Center with my friends with a **** ton of people. It was crowded with the same familiar faces of graphers and other self centered *******s, but some other friends of mine.

A radio host from Z100 hosted the event and was exactly the same guy who hosted the Deadpool event last year. So hoping he would remember me, I zipped my hoodie up and tried to participate in some of the questions. I'm guessing he didn't remember me for when I unzipped my sweater to answer the question "how old is X-23?", he said "why is this guy in a Deadpool costume? Get this guy out of here," as he gave the question to the guy next to me in which he won an ultimate X-23 comic book collection.

Because of this, I took off my Deadpool sweater and hid it for the rest of the night. James Mangold came and started signing posters. I managed to get this picture with him

There were more trivia questions and I took a shot at another. "Since Logan takes place in 2029 and Charles Xavier is 90 years old, How old is Xavier?" Nobody knew the answer off the spot, but for me it was a simple math question. I answered 1939 and won this framed picture of Xavier with a signature by Patrick Stewart

in the back which is 200x much better than an ultimate comic book. I gave it to my friend to hold while I try to get a picture with Hugh Jackman and GUESS WHAT? IT HAPPENED!

When I returned to get my frame, my friend got Hugh Jackman to sign it which made it more memorable to me.

After rewatching the film, I found the film's story much better structured the second time around as it homages other classic films, but I still feel the same way about the last 45 minutes. I would raise my rating to a three mainly because 90/135 minutes = 66% which is a 3/5 in my book.

Have you seen the version with more minutes for the fans?

Cool story Rjones1325!

Trying to tread very carefully in this thread....

Marathon taking place at cinemas in different cities in Poland. It's interesting that they opted not to include X-Men Origins in their list. They're showing The Wolverine, DOFP and then Logan.

X-men in Taipei

Australian actor Hugh Jackman, known for his role as Wolverine in the X-Men movies, arrived in Taiwan yesterday to promote Logan, which is expected to be the final time he plays the character on the big screen. Patrick Stewart, who plays Professor X in the film, is accompanying Jackman on the only Asian stop in the movie’s promotional tour, 20th Century Fox said. To celebrate Jackman’s beloved character that made its debut in 2000, Mercedes-Benz Taiwan and the film studio hosted a photographic exhibition of the characters and story lines featured in the Wolverine series of films. The exhibition runs until March 17 in Taipei’s Xinyi District (信義). The movie opens in theaters on Feb. 28.

Just re-watched The Wolverine and I had forgotten how amazing the whole Shingen fight is, starting from
Logan sitting at the surgery table to remove the bug with Yukio protecting him during the process and ending with Wolverine and Shingen's fight with Logan killing him.

I really hope there is a similar action scene in Logan - intense, brutal and beautifully choreographed. Hope that R-rating helps in this regard.

What do you think?

To this day, I get chills, when Shingen stabs Wolverine through the chest, then asked "what kind of monster are you?"

"The Wolverine."

Best part of the movie.

As much as I can't wait for this movie, it is truly an end of an era for X-Men in my opinion. It's ashame Hugh Jackman will never reprise the role of Wolverine.

His first scene as Wolverine in X-Men was amazing.

He also had the best cameo in First Class.
"Excuse me, I'm Erik Lehnsherr"
"Charles Xavier"
"Go F**K Yourselves"

I'd love to think that his line was improvised by Hugh.
