No offense to Sofia who was great in Kingsman, but I wouldn't trade Dafne in for anyone right now. These films take time to make. I could see hell would want to see a film with Dafne playing X-23 under the age of 21. Developing as a person in her teen years etc.

Yeah, only Dafne, no one else. I really hope if they make a movie they won't recast.

I really enjoy it). Amazing idea. Maybe need add Tale as Old as Time in spot)).

Haha I saw that, I never thought i'd see one tv spot for a movie reference another movie.

Disney did the same thing with Zootopia and Deadpool iirc. Haha.

Back in the day, Fox/LucasFilm had a spot using the Spider-Man style writing saying stuff like "Prepare for the greatest action hero of them all" and then... Yoda ignites his lightsaber and flips into action in AotC. I thought that was fun. :p

When the first Harry Potter movie opened, there was a new trailer for Monsters Inc that played in front of it that had Mike and Sully playing charades. Sully was Harry Potter and Mike couldn't guess it. The end of the trailer reminded everyone that Monsters Inc was in theaters now..."like, right next door." :funny:

I love the marketing for the movie, they are keeping it coming even after it is released very clever Beauty and the Beast spot!

Saw the film Friday... loved it.

Regarding the violence, etc... I think it fit the story, themes, and character.

For me, I think it's a fitting end to an era.

I'll be watching Beauty and the Beast this weekend as I've Already seen Logan twice.

You know who played Gaston in Beauty and the Beast in Australia? Hugh Jackman. Seriously.

Just randomly pointing that out. :oldrazz:

That is awesome! Now I really want to see Gaston vs The Wolverine!

If he'd actually played the beast that would've made the tv spot even better lol.

Just saw the film, I liked it was pretty good 8.5/10

Is it me or his short gray hair looks "Wolverine-ish" anyway? The "animal spikes" are in there, they are just very small. After all, the hair are part of his secondary mutation: animal features/physiology.

Then, I have a question:

Many X-Men movie wikis wrote that the cinematic Wolverine has psychic "connection" (?) with animals. Really? Where did this happen in the movies?

The X-Men movie wiki draws information from anything like tie-in comics, games, marketing material etc. and is therefore fairly inaccurate most of the time.

No, that's Xavier, the horse whisperer :oldrazz:

LMAO.

I think they wrote that because the wolf in X2 and the bear in "The Wolverine"?

I liked the horse whisperer scene. I loved most of the mutant power displays in Logan, and this was something we hadn't seen Xavier do before

Incredible breakdown of the visual effects.

https://www.fxguide.com/featured/logan-i-will-make-you-hurt/

Some highlights: They did full head replacements, placing Hugh Jackmans head on the stunt doubles, along with de aging him for X 24.

Xaviers mind pulse effect was acheived by literally shaking the camera and stabilizing the image, leaving the motion blur in a steady image.

Keen wasn't allowed into the casino even for filming purposes so they had to use a stunt double and green screen compositing. Movie making can be silly and needlessly expensive.

Personally I think the effects here were pretty much flawless, really expanding upon the great makeup work. Unfortunately this kind subtle work gets overlooked at awards time.
