Yeah, this is 100% the first movie since TDK to really transcend the "genre".

6/10 for now. I don't know. I'm willing to give it another chance when original language version becomes available, but holy damn... I was bored to death. Rare action scenes and mawkish dialogue didn't help either.

P.S. Did I really need to see Xavier taking ****?

Damn Boose you didn't like it? That sucks, I know you were looking forward to it.

Strong 8 for me. It's not a perfect movie, it has some problem with pacing and few predictable moments, but other than that, it's really good. Perfect hommage to westerns and a worthy goodbye to Hugh Jackman's Wolverine.

I see that people are complaining about how villains are lame, how there's a little action... I don't know what you people were exactly expecting. From the comics you could see that Donald Pierce and the Reavers are not really types of the characters like the Joker or someone else who are so iconic that they could easily become some of the best movie villains ever (what exactly happened with Heath Ledger and Jack Nicholson). They are just those merciless bastards like in every good ol' western movie from which Logan draws tons of inspiration, and that's it. They serve their purpose. Also, this story isn't about them. It's about Wolverine and his path to doing the right thing for the last time, it's about Laura, this girl who is something that Logan never had. Some guy int he review said that this is like Unforgiven, but with claws. Yes. That's it. The movie's concept is designed in the similar way and it works REALLY good. It's about those main characters. They are the key here, and they're done perfectly.

And the people who are complaining that the movie is boring... I agree (and I wrote) it has some problems with it's rhythm, but I didn't find it boring. People need to understand that this is not that kind of the movie. I think they just got it wrong from the beginning. Again; this movie is not about people with capes and god-like powers smashing each other through the buildings and shooting a beam up in the sky. You could see this from the first trailer: It's about this man who seeks redemption, and who's weak and vulnerable for once, who is getting closer and closer to being what we all are - an ordinary human being. And because of that, action isn't the most important thing here. :)

I mostly felt indifferent and was counting minutes till it's end. X-24 and the bullet - crap. Insanely predictable plot. Action is boring, safe one Laura scene. While Xavier is alive, there's some character dynamic. But as soon as he's gone (in the middle of the film), everything falls apart and I just don't see any connection between Logan and Laura. They're kinda just left there to finish the film.

Look at what the cat dragged in.

And I thought I was being too critical.

My mom saw this film yesterday with her office mates. She didn't like it either.

It was my second most-anticipated film of the year... :(

Well maybe X-Men: Supernova would make up for this.

Anyway, at least now I am not the only person here who didn't think it was great. Well counting Jed, we are three now.

And yeah, it's interesting how Mangold managed to put some current themes in this movie - Logan takes place on the border of US and Mexico, kids are trying to escape, drunk *****ebaggy guys in the Limo are shouting "USA! USA!", and the main villain's name is, ironically, Donald! :)

That's just a coincidence.

I'm not proud of it. I had so much hope for this film. But looks like Hurt trailer was too promising.

Anyway, I won't hold my breath. It's pointless to get excited for things, because good stuff is so rare and almost accident.

My heart says 9/10 but my brain says 8/10 so i don't know now.

I just felt the relationship between Logan and X23 didnt reach the depth it should have to justify the end when she called him Daddy. Wolverine and Rogue gave me that sense in X1 but unfortunately not quite here.

This movie remind me X1 ( my favourite X-Men). It isn't perfect but there are so much heart in it.

The movie was fantastic and i loved every minute of it. 10/10

I'm going to have to watch this again. 16 hours after seeing it my gut still says it's a solid 9/10, but seeing some other peoples reviews I think I'm going to have to revisit the movie to really find out how I feel. If I walk out in stunned silence again then the movie probably does earn that 9.

It's weird that seeing "other people's" reviews makes you wanna see it again to see how "you" feel.

Just got out. Wow, what a film. I need to see it again and still processing it but my gut tells me this is a strong, adamantium 9/10.

However, I will say this movie could've EASILY been a 10 if not for X24. Im not going to lie, guys, when he appeared onscreen, my heart sank and not in a good way. I was like "Oh God, no. Please, PLEASE tell me that this movie which has been so fantastic up until this point, is not going down this silly path." I really did not like that element brought into the film and was scared that it was all downhill from there. Like THE WOLVERINE.

THANKFULLY, the rest of the film proved me wrong and held it together very strongly with a strong, visceral emotional climax and perfect ending.

Well done, Fox. Well done, Mangold. And farewell Hugh Jackman.

Very solid film. I didn't think it was amazing as many made it out to be, but it was very good nonetheless.

Jackman and Stewart were great, and showed us sides of Logan and Xavier that we never saw before.

X23 was well realized onscreen. Dafne Keen did a great job.

The villains were about as good as your average Marvel villain.

Definitely the best Wolverine film. 8/10

What's weird about it? I like to read what others have to say, because sometimes they may have a valid point.
