Somewhat. Russia is doing quite well there without America. Trump may be dumb enough to start an unnecessary war in the Middle East, but Putin knows exactly what he is doing.

Quite frankly the status quo is great for an energy power like Russia.

That's silly. Russia isn't genocidal. Trump probably isn't either. He's just a racist who wants to make America white again.

I do think he might end up going to war with Iran though, quite possibly inadvertently.

And he would no doubt underestimate Iran and when we start losing the war the idiot would start thinking about nuking Iran.
